Royal/Sabal at Grand Palms Golf & Country Club

Hi, we liked our day in your golf course, but we suggest a « strong » recommandation.

At least 3 or 4 times, we had problems to find the right place to go next hole, sometimes we have to follow car path, fine, but when we had a choice for right or left side of the car path, there were non indications, so we made the bad choice and and to come back and take the other one, for finally after few minutes find it…..

Seriously, add some little panels it will be enough

The greens needs to be revamped, reseeded and smoothened out. There were way too may bump and patches on most greens. Too bad, because this could be a nice course except for that, The green were fair.

one of the coldest and windiest days in south florida so any course will give a golfer issues however the rye has grown in so the putting greens can be addressed , thick fairways let a hacker throw some balls at the flag sometimes actually sticking to the green

Yes. The greens are growing in after some repairs. If you are out here practicing, move the ball a little bit to find a clean line. Fairways were decent. Tee boxes were also good.

This 3 nine wholes is well designed but maintenance is disastrous! Greens are missing grass spots all over and also cups were not done Sunday meaning you could miss pots from having them smaller! Also fairways had sand mounts of fire ants 🐜 on almost every wholes!

Will not return unless improved. Please do something to keep this course enjoyable and hope you will take this comments as friendly players who just would like to play this course unless you do something! ! !

The greens were in terrible condition, by far the worse course I have ever played.

Played the grand course and sabal course-

grand course was like putting on sand and carpet- and i mean literal sand- most greens were 30 percent sand and unattended in weeks most likely.

Sabal course slightly better but not by much.

Terrible course

The staff, from the desk to the carts to the snack shack to the ball machine, were absolutely GREAT. The course was rough!! The greens were pitiful and slower than any green I’ve ever played on. It was just odd. It was as if I was playing with a weighted ball but after about 9-10 holes I adjusted. It was after a rainy day and the course had tire tracks all over it. Shame on people. No one said cart path only but it should have been. We played 90 degrees and didn’t ride in obviously wet areas. I wouldn’t recommend it for regular price but with golf now at reduced prices, it was worth a day of golf in January!!

Played this golf course a handful of times in the last couple years and the conditions get worse and worse. Today’s conditions might’ve been the worst golf course I’ve ever played. Greens were absolutely horrible, big patches of sand on the greens, on top of that the grass on the greens was not cut so they were extremely slow. The only good thing about this course were the tee boxes. They should make you tee off from the greens onto the tee boxes might be the only hope this course has. Save your money and spend some time with your family instead of playing here.

A fair golfing challenge. The fairways are okay but the greens are in bad shape.

The staff are great specially the starter, good attitude!

I’ve played here a few times in the the couple months and the greens have been horrible. I was so sad to see such a great course in such disrepair. I played here the other day just working on my irons and I was surprised at the change on the greens. I only had a real issue with a handful of greens the others were getting better. They are trying and I really love the layout of this course. It’s challenging and forces me to reach deep into my bad to find the right club. Whatever they are doing here it seems to be working. I see a great future here if they continue in the course they are on.
