Royal/Sabal at Grand Palms Golf & Country Club

Course has diminished in quality greatly over the years. The fairways are pretty well maintained and staff is very friendly and helpful. Greens are well cut for the most part. However many of the ladies tees were dead grass or even just so patchy there wasn’t enough grass to stand on. Looks pitiful. Also there were groups of kids playing in the fairways. Running up and down playing tag, laying in bunkers, and following golfers. There used to be course rangers that would patrol around to make sure this doesn’t happen. They also removed the gps system from the carts that would give distances. Relatively cheap course to play, and the staff is nice. Just about the only two reasons to come back.

Folks were great; Sergio extremely friendly. Conditions and greens were terrific.

Interesting course layout, but condition not too good. Price would be ok when getting a hot deal on GolfNow.

Overall course, greens and farways, are not in good conditions. So sad to see the current condition of Royal and Grand courses.

Fairways and greens are in good shape. Better than in the past.

Course is always in good enough shape. Greens are in good shape compared to fairways. Cost per round is fair when using coupons from GolfNow membership.

We played the Royal and Sabal nines. Great course overall with good difficulty for anyone. Greens were pretty good and fairways as well. They didn’t provide sand on the carts to fix divots but it seems they routinely fix/replace the landscape. For $50 was good price compared to others that aren’t as great honestly.

Course conditions were nice. Course has improved over the last year. Will play it again! Recommend it!
