Flamingo Lakes Country Club in Pembroke Pines is one of the area's best-kept secrets. The layout is challenging but it is also very forgiving, making it accessible for players of any skill level. The course differs from other golf courses in the area due to its hilly terrain. Elevation changes are not common occurrences on Florida golf courses but you'll find several tricky uneven lies on this one. It also stands out for its superb conditions. Water hazards come into play on almost every hole, presenting some interesting risk-reward opportunities. There are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout requires thought and strategy in order to score well. Flamingo Lakes isn't long, instead it provides a quick and challenging round that can be played in less than four hours.

Pleasant golf for intermediate golfer
The course was in good condition, an open layout but with plenty of water. As a 15 handicap I found the holes to be very playable. I recommend the course to intermediate players.

Course was in good condition, greens were a little slow. Not to wet, and some fairways wet from sprinkler system left on to long.

Golf At Flamigo lakes
First thing is this coarse is not a country club. It's a very nice coarse at a reasonable price. We play here a least twice a month. The coarse has had some rain drainage issues so does most Florida coarses. There are some nice holes on this gold coarse. The par 3,s are all over or near water. The 2 holes that have my number are 8, and 10. This week I pared the 8th which is not often. The fairways were pretty good this week being its been dry and the grass has been cut. The greens this week were rolling much better then most of the year. A couple of bad spots on maybe two greens but otherwise We were happy with them. If you can keep the ball in the fairway you will enjoy this golf coarse.

No cart service available no half way house at the turn couldn’t get any beverages or food. Not good in the heat of the day.
