Flamingo Lakes Country Club in Pembroke Pines is one of the area's best-kept secrets. The layout is challenging but it is also very forgiving, making it accessible for players of any skill level. The course differs from other golf courses in the area due to its hilly terrain. Elevation changes are not common occurrences on Florida golf courses but you'll find several tricky uneven lies on this one. It also stands out for its superb conditions. Water hazards come into play on almost every hole, presenting some interesting risk-reward opportunities. There are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout requires thought and strategy in order to score well. Flamingo Lakes isn't long, instead it provides a quick and challenging round that can be played in less than four hours.

Everything was good except for like 2 greens that. we’re in rough shape. Otherwise like the layout and the course
Somewhat disappointed
The first individual helping us with our clubs was great. The restaurant and any refreshments were non existent. Except a very limited, very small cooler in the pro shop (water, Gator aid, Diet Coke and a coupe other drinks). Several greens were damaged, but for the most part the greens were fine (15 out of 18 greens). The couple we played were fantastic. To end the round, the individual working at the cart return was rude, did not offer to take our clubs to the bad drop and was only interested in getting us gone. Darryl Lynn 12:20 on 1/23/23
Very disappointing
Lay out (with ups and downs and bumps all over the fairways, ball jumping in greens), pace of play (almost four hours in 9 holes and nobody caring about), bar and off course amenities (no comment). Not a good experience
A fun but somewhat difficult course
The condition of the course was 4 star level. Several greens need some improvement. The layout of the course is 4 star.level . The par fives are very long. We try to always play this course when we are in the area.
