Flamingo Lakes Country Club
About
Flamingo Lakes Country Club in Pembroke Pines is one of the area's best-kept secrets. The layout is challenging but it is also very forgiving, making it accessible for players of any skill level. The course differs from other golf courses in the area due to its hilly terrain. Elevation changes are not common occurrences on Florida golf courses but you'll find several tricky uneven lies on this one. It also stands out for its superb conditions. Water hazards come into play on almost every hole, presenting some interesting risk-reward opportunities. There are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout requires thought and strategy in order to score well. Flamingo Lakes isn't long, instead it provides a quick and challenging round that can be played in less than four hours.

Surprise
I played this course several years ago and was not in good conditions. For me was a surprise the good conditions. Fairways and green are in good although the greens are slow. For the price is an excellent selection.
Good value course during season
This is a reasonably well maintained course which is a great value during winter season when the nicer courses are super expensive. The course is challenging with undulating fairways, well placed bunkers and water hazards. I would play again and I recommend the course.
Terrible customer service. Not a wonder they can only get 30-50$ during prime season
Called to book a tee time as a single (done this 2 times before) as you cannot book as a single online. Last 2 times were no issue made my tee time. Prepaid. Showed up. Golfed. Who ever answered the phone today stated “we don’t accept tee times for singles” made no attempt to remedy the situation just said you can show up and we will see if we can pair you with someone. Yea, I’m not driving 30 mins for a maybe. Crazy your tee sheet is EMPTY AFTER 12 and you deter business to a 6 handicap golfer that’s given your establishment repeat business ? Not a surprise they can only get 40$ during the winter, the conditions aren’t great outside of the greens. Your tee sheets will continue to be empty trying to act like a pristine country club. It’s a hole in the wall with no driving range, you’re not trump doral. Take the money or go out of business. Based on the reviews, lack of business and cost per round, looks like they are heading towards the latter of the 2. Happily will take my business elsewhere.
Straight forward Good Course
I personally love the design of this course very hilly always something going on water and bunkers heavily involved all this while stile remaining quite forgiving with plenty of back end around greens and large fairways.
Great track
Fun little course, greens were nice staff very friendly.
Basic golf.
I rarely fill out these surveys. For the price we paid it was a nice day. The course was in good condition. The two guys in front of us thought it was a playground and were nice guys, but shouldn’t have been on the course. There was absolutely no food or beverage cart on the course, restaurant was closed. Two rusty old water coolers that gave all the hot water you wanted . There was a tiny refrigerator in the pro shop. At the end of the round the four of us all in the mid 60s dragged our bags out to the car as the cart kid was more interested in washing down carts then he was of taking care of the patrons. . I always tip $10 at the end of the day, but I still got that $10 in my pocket today! With a little more effort and management, the course be could be much better.
love this course
love the course it will always test your skill level course is challenging
Find somewhere else
Where do I begin. Possibly the slowest golf carts I have ever driven. According to my speedometer app, 9 miles per hour. But, I guess this speed is good, because the fairways are the roughest I have ever played. It is like 10,000 speed bumps all next to each other. If you were going any faster, it would shake parts off the cart and your body. Cart paths are not much better holes, bumps, tree roots uprooting the path. Greens are very nice. Tee boxes are OK, Fairways are thin, especially the run-ups to the greens. I guess they are trying to get grass to grow because every run-up was saturated and nothing but mud. Lots of courses in this area. I would find someplace else.
Great value for the money! Just needs a little bit more TLC on the fairways and greens.
Had a great time
1st time at this course. The course conditions were average for this time, which is relative to this class of courses. We started about an hour behind. This was because of the holiday weekend. It allowed me some time to get some chipping and putting in near the 1st hole. I would play here again.
Good value for the money. Great course lay out and friendly staff.
