Jewel in Southwest Atlanta
This was a really nice course. The greens were great, the fairways were clean and leaf free. I loved the layout. God mixture of holes. Way more than I expected. Looking forward to playing there again. Golf Now Hot Deal made it worth the try, I'm glad I did.
Upper Shelf Greens
John White is a bit challenging. Tight fairways,elevated greens and small greens require precision golfing. With that being said, John White is course friendly. I'm a California Native., and l plan on playing this 9 hole course again before heading back west. 12/23/16
Great 9 hole course.
Great course, unfortunately a golfer had his cart stolen with all of his personal items in it. Really sad, because this is not a bad area and the course is great.

Nice 9 hole gem
I was 1st off @8 am on a Sunday I really liked the course a nice layout plent of variation in elevation and green size. Take an extra club or 2 if it's cold with the elevation changes. I hit very precise yardages and found myself 20-30 below the hole pretty consistently. I hit 7 out of 9 GIR the long putts on relatively slow greens cost me three 3 putts. I did very much like the course and will play it again soon. Staff was freidly and helpfully. Played 9 in 1 hr 14 min.

Always a Challenge
I have played here at least 10 times since I moved to Georgia and this course challenges me every time. The tree lines will play tricks with your depth perception. Will be back again in a month with these great prices on Golfnow.

Best round ever
Great course a few of the Greens needed work around the edges 8&9 and the sand bunkers other than that it would be excellent/perfect in my opinion. Still shot my best round ever 38 on 1st 9holes and 37 on 2nd 9holes. @75 and 5 over par from white tees. No mulligansuch, foot wedges, or give-me's etc. true stroke play golf by FIRST TEE HIGH ETHICAL STANDARDS FOR THEIR YOUTH.
Best in Atlanta
This is by far the nicest public golf course that I've played at in the Atlanta area. Worlds better than Candler Park, Charlie Yates, Browns Mill, etc. The course was in excellent shape and the greens were phenomenal. It's a very short course, but the greens are extremely challenging.

This course is a pleasure to play
The course is beautiful to look at, lots of trees and greenery, and even some rolling hills. While it is a nine hole course, and goes fast, you can opt to play 18 holes. If you walk, as many people do, playing 9 holes would be plenty. The holes themselves are challenging, you find yourself hitting down into valleys or having to hit up to some pretty good hills. The course is part of the First Tee Program, teaching children to love and understand golf. The gentleman who set us up with a cart and a feel for the course was very welcoming and friendly, as were the greens people we ran into. While we are from out of town and learned of the course from Golf Now, we were invited to come back anytime. We let our friends whom we are visiting know to try the course at their earliest opportunity and we will definitely play there again.

Great 9 hole course
Course conditions were excellent, greens were a little slow because i played in the morning dew which is to be expected but rolled straight and true. Fairways in excellent condition and tee boxes very well upkept, rarely even saw a single broken tee. Not an especially difficult course but challenging for all levels. Would highly recommend playing here if you just want to play a quick 9, i started a little before 10 and was done by 11:15, less than am hour and a half and had plenty of time to play 2 balls. I think this is the best 9 hole course I've played.

Hidden gem in Atlanta
Who knew??? And so close to where I live. Will definitely be back!!
This course is just GREAT!!!! New cart paths and the nine greens are to DIE for. I play this course every chance that I can get. The greens (Par 9) are in great shape as I stated earlier (June 2016). The course is not difficult except for #1(Par 5), especially when the pen placement is on the upper tier. A FUN, FUN course!!! GO PLAY!!!!!

Thank you for your review! You just happened to catch us on a day where we top-dressed our greens and hadn't watered it in yet! Top-dressing is a standard maintenance practice we do here at the golf course to keep the greens firm and healthy during the stressful summer months. If you were to come out this weekend, you wouldn't see the sand at all as we've watered it down over the week. Greens should be nice and true this weekend, so come on back out! Once again, thank you for your support!
The secret is out
Probably the best nine hole golf course in the city. The practice facility is the best on the SW side of the city, They have 3 par 3's, 2 par 5's, and 4 par 4's. A lot of slopes, and a lot of elevations. If you're going to walk prepare to lose about 4 pounds.

John A. White Golf Course is a hidden gem
A number of improvements were made to the John A. White golf course. This 9 hole track has become a hidden gem. Enhancements to the cart path produce a smooth ride thoughout your round. The course has a great repretation for outstanding green conditions and based on the early care and hard work the repretation will continue this year. An affordable greens fee along with new golf carts make John A. White a great bargain.
