Nice layout, but extremely slow pace of play
Being late winter (mid-March) the course, except for the greens was in a dormant state. The greens were in good shape for the most part, and it is a nice little layout. On the negative side-no ball washers at all on the course, no directions, the majority of the holes have no signs at the tees, and the pace of play was extremely slow. The course seems to be predominantly played by residents of the community who obviously know the layout and don’t care much about “strangers” being on their course. I was behind a foursome of men playing from the blue tees (who shouldn’t have been). On the plus side the lunch I had in the grill was good. Would I play there again? Yes, but only if I was playing with someone else (I was by myself this day looking for a new place to play).
Great Condirion
The course was wet from recent rain but in excellent condition. Greens are great.
Great course and staff!!!
First time playing this course and glad we did!!! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Course is fun and challenging and the greens are amazing!!! Restaurant has great food and drinks. We will definitely be back!!!
Continually getting better
Course is always improving, staff is seeing how they can make it better!!
Chminey Oaks Golf
Excellent course greens were much slower than usual but rolled very smooth.. Still make upgrades to course as they are replacing sections of cart paths . Staff is always excellent everyone across the board. Food is outstanding I did lunch and then dinner after round always high quality and excellent taste. This place is first rate new pro shop and cart barn building is nearing completion and the new practice area is first rate no matter your drive be sure and play this course snd enjoy some food. New ownership snd staff have really turned this into a special place.
Hidden gem
One of the most enjoyable tracks around… great layout… 18 unique holes and the best greens I’ve 3 putted in a while!
For the middle of January the course was in great shape.
Fantastic Greens
This was my first time playing this course, it was recommended by a friend because of the greens - he was 100% correct, these greens are amazing and just about as good as greens get. The layout was fair, some fun holes, and not cookie cutter boring golf. I highly recommend Chimney Oaks and will definitely be back!
