Course conditions are great
The course is in fabulous shape and the practice area, both the range and short game, are very convenient and nicely designed. With many blind tee shots, GPS on the carts would be helpful as well as water availability . Overall the work done in the course and the new buildings housing the pro shop, restaurants, bathrooms, and teaching facility are first class.
Chimney Oaks
Had an excellent round at Chimney Oaks, course was in tremendous condition, greens were the best in area-especially for a public course. Even though price was little more than I usually pay to play, price was well worth it for conditions I experienced
Chimney Oaks
Course was in great shape. Staff was very friendly.
Lots of potential; hope they successfully unlock it.
Nice place; could be so much more, and looks like they are working on it; lots of construction going on. Really enjoyed the round, but they are in desperate need of directional signage, and the cart path flow between holes is just wrong - could really use some thought to improve those. Regardless, a.very enjoyable round.
Will be nice soon
Still a little soon for green fairways. Enjoyed round but for the money they should offer ball washers on some? holes and an occassional trash can. Water coolers at some holes? this summer in the heat? Not a real difficult course especially with the nice greens.
Awful
This course is complete dog water now. It's more of a construction site than a golf course on the front 9. Clearing all the nature to put up some hideous duplexes. was so excited to play this course abs overwhelmingly disappointed by the experience. Staff were awesome though.
3 groups of 5 people
Had good players (playing from back tees) with 3 holes open in front of them slow everything down
Talked at turn with staff who did nothing. I guess when you join a Club you can do what you want.
Getting a little pricey
Lots of Constuction going on in this community along the golf course. Did not like having to play behind two groups of Fivesomes. What? Had to play ahead of them and come back to play remaining holes. Course was still not very green at all but greens were pretty good and plenty fast on some holes. Prices might be higher due to New Clubhouse being built that is huge.
Slow and unfriendly
Proshop was like a deer in the headlights when spoken to and cart staff about the same...just kids basically. Cart broke down and they had to bring another and the 2 cart guys never spoke a word, just converted the cart over and left, no apologies or anything. 3 guys in front of us, we were a threesome with a lady and we were on them on every shot, no play through and the marshall was just looking for balls. I would say the course is like countryland on steroids.
Prices have gone up!
This is still one of my favorite local courses, but it’s very disappointing that the price has jumped to $59. No way it should be that much. I had this as a regular, but I’ll be forced to drop that status now. Makes me wonder if the prices are rising to pay for the new clubhouse that’s being built.
