About
Red Bridge Golf & Country Club in Locust is routed through stands of mature trees that give the course a peacefully secluded feel. The layout wanders across gently rolling hills, providing a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. There is a stream that runs throughout the golf course, coming into play on a few holes. The course is seemingly long at 7,100 yards from the back tees but it's more forgiving than it appears, which means players of all skill levels can enjoy the golf course. The design relied heavily on the natural features of the landscape, allowing the course to blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings while also shaping natural hazards. There are also strategically placed bunkers throughout Red Bridge that complement rather than overtake the natural challenges.

Excellent course
Love this course because it offers a variety of challenges . Play was quite slow. No rangers or starter.
Another great round at RB
Due to the large amount of rain in the recent past, the course was fully 'path only'. The extra exercise did us all some good (btw, the paths here are in excellent shape),
The greens were in great shape, considering the time of year, and a grounds crew was working improving bunkers...one hole in particular was having a significant makeover (did not slow or alter our play). Another crew was doing some edging and cosmetic landscaping...it is nice to see a course taking pride in keeping things clean and neat, even in the winter.
As usual, all the staff we interacted with were friendly and professional.
Busy for a Monday. A bit wet.
Very busy for a Monday, earlier rains made it CPO. greens are good, but have some foreign grass invading. I still can't make par on 18. Will be back.
Wet course
Due to he recent rains, the course was very wet (golf cart path only)! Greens were medium to fast, held the approach shot well, rolled true. Wet fairways and roughs made club selection difficult. Certainly no roll in the fairways.

Great golf course and pro
Fun golf course with many risk/reward opportunities. Mark, the pro us a great teacher and nice guy.
Nice Course
My first time playing the course. Although it was cart path only, and the pace of play was slightly slowed, I managed to enjoy the course layout. The guys I was paired with were great guys and we planned to link up together for future rounds. I will definitely play this course again particularly when the conditions are more favorable. I too, do recommend that this course is a great place to play.
Challenging course
Fairways were in good condition for winter golf. Rough was stiff and unpredictable in hitting out of it. Greens rolled true, held the approach shot well, and were medium speed. Sand traps were in good condition. Lots of people made play very slow.
CART PATH ONLT, VERY WET.
THIS IS A VERY GOOD LAYOUT AND IS SOMEWHAT CHALLENGING. THE COURSE WAS STILL WET, AFTER A RAIN 2 DAYS AGO, SO IT WAS CART PATH ONLY. THE GREENS ARE THE REAL TEETH OF THIS COURSE. UNDULATIONS AND SLOPES REQUIRE YOUR VERY CAREFUL CONSIDERATION. .
Great Course
Frost delay for about an hour. The original tee-time was 9:24 got out there almost an hour later, had lots of people there but the pace of play was great. Greens were pure, pretty, and challenging. I'm from NY, and I can tell you to bring in NC this was a great course to start playing.
Slow Play
Course okay but too overbooked and greens are chewed up .

Fairways and roughs were in good condition. Greens held the approach shot well, rolled true, and were medium speed. Course was very busy.
Challenging Course
Some holes are pretty straight forward but others make you think and force you to set yourself up for an approach shot. Course was in decent condition for late November. Greens were super fast. Pace was very slow. Almost 5 hours. But overall experience was great.

You need to have a ranger check on pace of play. It kook us 5 hours and thirty minutes to play. We waited every shot and the scores in my group were 83, 131, 128 and the fourth quit after 8 holes.
