The Highlands golf course is one of three courses owned and operated by Meadows Country Club. In addition to the Highlands and Meadows Courses, there is also the Arthur Hills-designed Groves Course, an 18-hole executive course. The Highlands Course has an "old Florida" layout equipped with plenty of trees and water that tumble across gentle hills. You'll be playing through majestic oaks and towering pines as you take on this challenging-but-fair test. Narrow, tree-lined fairways and small greens demand accuracy but generously the reward well placed shot. The golf course finishes with a tricky par 4. Your tee shot will to be straight and accurate to avoid the fairway bunkers on the left and right, positioning you for a mid iron back into a green that sloped front-to-back and guarded by bunkers on both sides. There is also a lake to the front left.

Meh
Played in about 4 hours. Fairways were fair at best. Greens were very sandy. Not a $90 round of golf. Wouldn’t play again at that price.
18 handicap
I played previously in 2022, The course is in worse condition. The greens are in very bad shape, Many are burned out and need repair. The price has increased and it is a poor value.
Don’t waste your $
I have played this course many times over the past 10 years. This was the first time I’ve played it this year. The greens are awful, slow and bumpy. And at $94 pp plus tax…I will not return.
Fun Golf
I totally enjoy golfing with this proximity and fun fair layout!! Much appreciate friendly staff and a “fair” course for everyday playing while South from Vicksburg, Michigan!
Disappointing
Played the course a few years ago, I read about improvement / renovations. Oops.
Conditions are poor. Greens burned out, bumpy, sand on many. Weeds on tee boxes, fairways messy at best,
The course needs signage to get you from hole to hole. When you come off 8 you have a 50/50 chance to get to 9,( go left when you come to the road).
Will not be back.
I’ve reviewed many golf courses. I have never been more critical.
People were very nice, pace of play was fine . My 2 some caught a 4 some on the back.. they waived us thru.

Greens miserable
Don’t waste your money. For $94 plus tax this course is a rip off. The greens are in horrible shape. I have played this course in previous years and enjoyed it but won’t go back.
Course in very rough shape not worth playing there unless 50.00 or under but course design fun
Course condition can be great not sure why course conditions are so poor and don’t use gps to get there it’s like a maze to get to some holes. Carts ate way too restricted to and no distance markers on golf course.
Poor condition at Highlands Course
Pace of play very slow no ranger. The layout of the course is good. Greens in poor condition need lots of work, a few should be shut down and repaired. Cart paths old worn out. Fairways and ruff average.
The normal advertised price of 70.00+ you would be foolish to pay that amount for course in this condition. I paid a deeply discounted price on GolfNow thank goodness.
Extremely slow play with no supervision.
We are year round residents not visitors and average golfers.
SUPER SLOW PACE
Fairways cut too short
Greens were not green and in rough shape.
Very disappointing round of golf
Never saw amenities because round took so long we had to leave. We actually walked off at 16th hole after 6 hours
Time of play was very late morning.
