Designed by Arthur Hills, the Groves Golf Course may be a "short" course but it's still a challenge. It's one of three courses operated by Meadows Country Club. With a layout that sprawls across more than 50 acres, the par-63 layout feels more like a championship par-72 course. The layout is comprised of nine par 4s, eight par 3s, and one par 5. The course rewards accuracy and good shot placement, meaning it's not strength that matters but being able to strategize. The seventh hole is a memorable par 3 that appears simple enough thanks to a massive and seemingly inviting green, but the problem isn't hitting the green but getting your shot on the same level as the pin. There is a 5-foot slope that runs through the green, the severity of which is matched only by some of the greens at Augusta National.

Golf people
We were behind 2 sets of 6 players, I’ve never seen this on any golf course that I’ve played on in my life
Pathetic example of a course
There’s nothing good to say. Poor conditions. Bad tee boxes. Bad hold design. No landing areas. Several holes you had no idea where the hole was going, Do not ever go play this course.
A Somewhat Challenging Course!
My husband and I enjoyed the round. We found the back nine to be much more enjoyable than the front. The Bermuda grass seemed to be left quite deep. At times we had difficulty distinguishing where to hit to as there were no indicators. The GPS on the carts was helpful until the last hole when it just quit and we were uncertain of where to go next. The pro shop was closed when we arrived at the parking lot and we did not have access to the washroom facilities. However, it was Thanksgiving Day and the staff deserved to be home with their families. Access to the washrooms would have been helpful.
Not my cup of tea. Could be yours
This course feels like one of those courses where the designer was told to build a course, but didn’t have enough room and proceeded anyways
There is maybe 1 or 2 driver holes on this course from the tips. And no range availability really put a damper on my day. The course is in 5/10 condition. With no range, very short course, that’s in in fair condition I can’t say I’ll be itching to play again for $70
The highlights of the course were that the staff is awesome, incredibly friendly, and the pace of play was great. I finished my round in ~2 hours.
Groves - great Value
Course is nice, Condition is good. Greens are often very steep. If not below the hole you can very easily 3 putt or worse!
