Designed by Arthur Hills, the Groves Golf Course may be a "short" course but it's still a challenge. It's one of three courses operated by Meadows Country Club. With a layout that sprawls across more than 50 acres, the par-63 layout feels more like a championship par-72 course. The layout is comprised of nine par 4s, eight par 3s, and one par 5. The course rewards accuracy and good shot placement, meaning it's not strength that matters but being able to strategize. The seventh hole is a memorable par 3 that appears simple enough thanks to a massive and seemingly inviting green, but the problem isn't hitting the green but getting your shot on the same level as the pin. There is a 5-foot slope that runs through the green, the severity of which is matched only by some of the greens at Augusta National.

Bad greens
Rough shape for the price. Greens in really bad shape.
Great short course
Nice layout and greens in good shape and had to be precise with shots
Sharpen your irons
For a short course it was an excellent layout. Fun to play especially for someone looking to improve their irons. Fairways and greens were in good condition. Greens were lightning fast. Cart barn employee did a great job getting my wife and I set up to play with ice and water on our on cart cooler. Pro shop check in person wasn’t the friendliest but he may have been distracted by member needs. Overall a good experience. I’d play here again for a warmup round.
Meadows CC Groves Course
Fun and challenging for a short course. First round I’ve played this spring being from Michigan and down here on vacation. Wanted a warmup before playing a regulation course. Course was in good shape, especially the greens which were very fast. Played golf only. Cart area employees were very friendly and helpful. I would play it again.
The Groves is a Par 63 course, and is I n much better condition than a year ago. Biggest downside is no driving range to warm up; even the nets were removed. There is a chipping & putting green.
Good time at The groves golf course
Very challenging par 65 course in incredible condition considering the drought we've had lately. The greens are true and fast would recommend.
Course is challenging, mostly greens super fast , sand traps could use more sand price to high reasonable price would be $30 or less will return when price comes down
Good course for first round of the year
This course is easy enough for the first round of the season. It could be watered better, but overall in respectable level. Greens were in very good condition, and rolled true. Staff and drink cart girls were friendly and nice to deal with. Despite being a par 66 course, it allowed for a good variety shots. I'd recommend this course to friends. Played the round as a twosome, in just over 3 hours riding. It could have been faster except for the front nine, with only twosomes ahead of us.
