Fun course
This a fun course to play. While the irrigation problem a while ago left the course in rough shape it is improving. You can play in less than 3 hours which is great in this summer heat. Also this course drains well and is playable when other courses are closed or cart path only. Friendly staff.
In wet weather the course drains well it’s open when other course are closed due to casual water. Course has a great driving range and practice facilities
Amazing time
My group continues to play this course because of many factors. The course is in good shape and easily playable and enjoyable.
The staff is awesome and very knowledgeable!!! Overall a very fun day of golf. We will be back many times.
Buyer Beware
The course was in terrible condition, could not discern where the fairway was vs. rough. If you could even call it a fairway. Tee boxes were nothing but weeds and the greens were horrific. It looked like the place has not been taken care of in quite some time.
Don't Bother Aiming on Putts
The greens were mostly dirt and sand. Tee boxes were in above average shape. Fairways needed mowing and had many thin areas. The rough was fairly long and we lost many balls in it. Large swampy ditches cross the fairways on some holes, so an app really helps out on distance to this type of hazard as they do not have GPS in the carts. Odd layout in that the front 9 is 2572 yards (mens) and the back nine is only 1369 yards. I would give them another try when the course is fully recovered.

Awesome fun little course
Perfect for when you wanna play a fun no pressure match with friends. Awesome staff wish the back 9 was a little longer but it’s a good chance to work on your short game!
Poor course conditions

Friendly staff, great course!
Staff was awesome. The course recently had their irrigation system go down and they are currently trying to get it back into shape. Staff will let you know what’s going on and are super helpful.

Treated like Kings
It was my groups first time playing and what impresses me the most was we were treated like family. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They were helpful and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our experience. The course is in good shape.....we enjoyed the layout.
Overall we will be back as regulars to play. Wonderful experience
Great course
Great course. Great staff. Unfortunately a stroke of misfortune prior to our visit left the course in ok condition. Would like to play when it’s back in prime condition. Fast fun course. Won’t take all your vacation day. I recommend
Not a great course
Course was in bad shape. Greens were like putting on a gravel driveway. Awkward layout as well, but somewhat challenging. Staff was very friendly, pace was great because no one was there I’m sure due to the conditions. Had an okay time, but I wouldn’t go back.

The Palms Golf Course
I'm an intermediate player who enjoys playing at The Palms. It's a challenging course and has helped me improve my game. Been playing there for yrs. Sven is so accommodating with a great personality.
Great place to golf.
The Gm of the course was the nicest person I have ever dealt with. They had some pumps go out earlier this season. He was not satisfied with the course yet and he was very apologetic and helped out with a deal. Just from the interaction with him I would play here again and plan to on my next trip down here again. The course itself was very fun to play and had some great greens.
Fun Course to Play
My friends and I enjoy playing at The Palms and have been playing there for several years now. It is challenging to us but not as long as other courses which we appreciate. The staff is extremely nice and helpful.
Course is Coming Back Well
I've seen that there are some unfavorable reviews for The Palms due to course conditions caused by a catastrophic irrigation system failure in May. Yes, the course isn't in its normally pristine condition, but it is well on its way back. We can thank the efforts of Sven and the grounds crew that we have a course at all right now, The course is definitely playable, and you can't beat the effort by the general manager and the staff to make your outing memorable.
