Great staff
Staff is very friendly. Course is improving with every passing week. Great women’s league. Very accommodating and would highly recommend for an enjoyable round of golf.
I think the Palms is a challenging track for players of all levels.
It drain’s very well in wet weather where a lot of courses will be flooded. I would recommend it if you haven’t played it, and if you have played there before it’s in a lot better shape than it was a couple of months ago.
Manager Rocks
Once faved Rainforest Restaurant at the old clubhouse and fun neighborhood course has been revamped into a properly quaint clubhouse with well-prepared limited menu at a fun neighborhood course. The manager is super helpful and friendly. Be straight on the couple holes that become roof haven for slicers. Hey, if I had lots of dough, I'd play all over ya know; and here I'd still go.

If you can score well at the Palms. You shouldn’t have any problems on a Par 72 course! It’s a very rewarding feeling shooting a low round at the palms! Feels like an accomplishment. Friendly staff who have been working hard to keep the course maintained.
I moved to Sarasota a year ago and was looking for a new golf course when I stumbled across this hidden gem. I have been playing this course now once a week for over a year! It is a sneaky course, with tough fairways and difficult greens. The back 9 is a walkable par 3 course which has helped my short game tremendously. Course stays in good shape throughout the summer off season compared to some other public courses in the area. Highly recommend trying if you are in the area you won't be disappointed!
Practice Makes Perfect!
I have played the front nine for over a year, but recently started playing the back nine too. The front nine is challenging as it is narrow, but that only helps you to get better at being more accurate. The back nine offers you a chance to hone in on your short game. I like that you can walk the course and not always have to take a cart. There are a few rough spots on the course, but they are working diligently and you can already see the improvements. I loved seeing the junior program this summer. The staff, (Sven, Chris, Mark, +) are friendly and Jay offers great lessons.
The women I have met make it the place to play!
I have been a member of the Palms golf club for the past two years . The people are very friendly ..Sven ,the club manager , is very accommodating .Great ladies league.
Very convenient location. and we’ll maintained course.
Palms Golf Club
A few weeks ago, The Palms had some serious issues due to irrigation problems. The staff and groundskeepers have worked very hard to remedy the situation and the course is almost up to its usual standards.
The chipping and putting greens are in excellent condition.
The back nine will challenge your iron play.
For the price of play compared to the other courses in town this is a bargain.
The manager, Sven Nelson, has always been very friendly and accommodating and makes me feel very welcome on the course.
Friendly place to play
I love coming here. The staff are very nice. The course is improving following an issue with their sprinkler system. They are so wonderful to our Women’s golf league. They are constantly working hard to improve every aspect of your golfing experience. Prices are much more reasonable in comparison to other courses.
Course is looking great
Great woman’s league on Thursdays, come join us. Course is looking great and getting better each week.
Greens are coming back
Staff has done an outstanding job getting the greens back after their water pump went down. All good things take time and it's all looking favorable.
Best customer service in Sarasota as well
Getting better
Very friendly staff! Pace of play is great! Greens got hurt a few months ago but starting to come back nicely. Great course to work on your short game and tighten up your iron shots.
Great little course.
Though the Palms is only a 64 par layout, I find the front nine to be as challenging as any of the courses in the area while the back nine is shorter it offers a great opportunity to hone your iron and wedge approach play. I recommend giving it try.
Course is coming back
The staff has done a great job getting the golf course back. They are very knowledgeable and thorough on the explanation of what they are doing. Very enjoyable course

Fun Course
I love this course and play 3 times a week. The Palms is a fun course challenging course. There are plenty of leagues to join ad well. The staff is friendly and accommodating..
Great place to play
Great place to play. Super friendly staff. Definitely suggest it to friends.
Shorter course with tricky shots
Played here again after taking time off. The back 9 is perfect for working with irons. Lots of water and some narrow fairways make this course more challenging than you think. They told me about the free ap for ranging each hole - very handy with the water! Practice range offers a large practice green that has sand, fringe and rough to chip from. Then there are five islands to practice irons with before going out. It does have some spots that are repairing, but it seems to be coming along well. Fun course for sure.
