Great shorter course
Palms is longer than an executive course but a couple short of a full course. The greens are great, playable almost immediately after the Florida rains durning the summer months. Great maintenance and the clubhouse offers a full bar after your round!!
Abandoned?
This is not a golf course. This is simply a bunch of uncut farm land with a couple flags here and there. I am currently on the golf course as I write this review because this is beyond embarrassing. Truly can’t believe this “course” is open - save your 20 bucks and go grab a drink. I wish I could give zero stars.
Awesome, family friendly course great for learning to play or even just playing a quick round of golf, and the staff is great! Definitely recommend.
Great little course
Greens are fast but fairly soft, had no trouble sticking irons. Layout is a little sporadic but that’s because it runs through several neighborhoods. A couple holes are tight and a few greens smaller but nothing unexpected for a smaller, shorter course. Played excellent for the price paid. Staff was super friendly. Look forward to my next round there. (Make sure to get the nice course layout card, there’s a few sneaky water crossings that will catch you if you haven’t played there before.)
Nice course great staff
I played this course last week and enjoyed the layout and the condition. It seems they have survived the long dry spell we have had, Look forward to playing this course again and can only expect better things. The personnel running the facility were fun to deal with. They made me fell right at home.
Best Value
Course is in great shape. Understanding that this time of year course maintenance is happening. Greens are fast and true, grass in the fairways and a great staff. I would recommend this course to anyone that is looking for fast fun golf
Goat Track
With greens this tiny you would think they would be easily maintained, but they are more bouncy than a trampoline. Then again looking at the rest of the course I can't imagine a maintenance budget exists. Tee Boxes resemble lido key beach with all the sand on them. Scorecard is a piece of paper. If the course matched the staff they would have something there, but dont count on me playing that one ever again.
The greens at the Palms Golf Club are some of the best in the area. Yes sand on the tee boxes but during this time of year you are going to do that with fertilizer to expedite the growth of Bermuda grass which is proper maintenance procedures during the summer months. If you are going to write a bad review of the course make sure it is accurate!!! Get all the details correct instead of belittling a great property!!!
June 11 review
The course was OK it was very little grass mostly weeds and the back nine really had too many part threes but the price was reasonable and the staff was very friendly

Always friendly, good for a quick round.
Course is in pretty good shape. Greens are in good condition. Great course to work on short game, the back nine is mostly par 3. Pace of play in summer is good, you can always skip slower players if someone is in front, no one is up tight here like some courses
. They have a bar if you drink, putting green, driving range for your irons. Staff always friendly. It’s a little pricey for the type of course it is, but I still play here from time to time for the convenience and being able to play a round in less than two hours.

Tough ride
Course is in very rough shape. Played 18 in 2 hours.

Surprised in a Good Way
Moved to the neighborhood and didn’t even know I was living on a golf course lol. First time playing here and the lovely lady behind the counter was super nice and helpful getting me all set up. Although it’s been dry for weeks the course was fast, fairways were in good shape and greens were okay. What I liked about it was the layout making it challenging at times for a leftie (surprised by some good location water hazards). Not much in the way of drinking water or bathrooms on the course but it’s a short 2-2.5 hr game and you will definitely work on your short game on the back nine. Overall I was surprised and pleased by this little course in my backyard. I will be back.
I am not sure what course you are speaking of. We have plenty of grass in the fairways and the greens are fast and true. AS you can tell from the last post the golf course is in great shape and players love playing the property. Instead of writing something that is not true you are more than welcome to call myself at the club to discuss. Sven Nelson General Manager The Palms Golf Club. 941.388.7241
