Surprised in a Good Way
Moved to the neighborhood and didn’t even know I was living on a golf course lol. First time playing here and the lovely lady behind the counter was super nice and helpful getting me all set up. Although it’s been dry for weeks the course was fast, fairways were in good shape and greens were okay. What I liked about it was the layout making it challenging at times for a leftie (surprised by some good location water hazards). Not much in the way of drinking water or bathrooms on the course but it’s a short 2-2.5 hr game and you will definitely work on your short game on the back nine. Overall I was surprised and pleased by this little course in my backyard. I will be back.
Much improved
This was my second visit to Forest Lakes. The first time, several months ago, I gave the course 3 stars. At that time, the course conditions were pretty rough. I was pleasantly surprised yesterday to find the conditions much improved. There is still room for improvement but. all in all, I was impressed with the improved conditions.
I'll definitely be back
Nice in town golf course
The Palms is well maintained and a nice short course. (4545 yds) par 64.
People are friendly and easy going. Kinda funky back 9 with 7 par 3 and 2 par 4’s.
Enjoyable place to play
Nice little course
It’s a short course, back 9 is mostly par 3 but there are a couple par 5’s on the front. Good course to practice short game. This time of year ever course I play is slow pace so can’t blame the course for that. It’s in decent shape. Nice course to play if you don’t have a lot of time, it’s pretty quick when it’s not busy. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. They have a little bar inside and a driving range for your irons.
Good greens,
Friendly staff, good greens (faster than most in the area) and fairways. Fun to play! Excellent course for seniors. Could be some improvement to cart cleaning.
