Good course good deal for the money. Love playing there

Greens were very nice, weather was terrible due to lots of rain. Will play course again when in area

Fairways well maintained.

Area around greens and bunkers are not well maintained.

Interesting layout but some gimmicky holes.

The fairways we a bit thin for this time of year: also, noticed patches of weeds beginning to encroach on the fairways as well. The bunkers we not raked and rather hard packed, yet manageable to play out of. The greens, unusually slow were in beautiful condition and rolled true.

Nice track. Greens were decent but very slow! Tee boxes were terrible, fairways were on the rough side but after all the rain that is somewhat understandable. Golf carts need GPS first time players as we were could not tell the distance to the hazards. The gentleman in the clubhouse was very nice and gave us a book describing the holes but it did not provide us distances from the Tee box to the hazards which in turn slowed down our play and made it less fun.

It is still early in the season. The course was in good shape considering the time of year. The fairways were still brown and very thin, the rough was equally thin and patchy. The greens were recently plugged and top dressed, putting was challenging at best. With a few weeks of warm sunshine, Old Union will be back to its beautiful condition!!

First off, course conditions are just unfair to rate right now with the amount of rain this winter. Fairways are just water-logged and squishy like a sponge! The greens were in great condition and read true with good speed. Carts could be updated. The layout was fun and a respectable challenge. Bunkers played well and course marking are well maintained. Staff was very accomodating and knowledgeable about the course. There were some workers installing a new counter on the outside "bar" area looking out over the course.

Overall, loved the course, wish I lived closer to it. I intend to play this course again and hopefully the South will DRY OUT and improve the playing condition. The course can't help that Mother Nature has "blessed" us with so much rain this year.

There are several courses in North Georgia to choose from - The Ridges, Brasstown Valley, Chatuge Shores and Old Union. It is worth the drive north out of Blairsville to play here. Links style layout, challenging shots reward accuracy, and greens rolled true. I love every round here!

My wife and I travel in our motorhome and play golf as much as we can in different states and cities. We were camping in Hiawassee Ga. near the Old Union Golf Course, Ga. The weather was overcast look like rain the day we played golf. The course for a Georgia mountain course was in fair/poor condition. The green were very slow and you needed some care, traps were in fair shape. I would not recommend playing Old Union Golf Course do to the condition of the course. This course is run by the local government. The swimming pool and tennis courts were in very poor condition. Save your money.

This is one of my favorite course layouts. Course is in good condition. Only a couple issues I had were the 3 some that decided to start on number 10 while I was putting out on number 9. Took 2.5 hours to play the back 9. Not a huge issue, but it should be addressed. Other issue is the fact that very few people that play there fix their ball marks. I spent 5 to 10 minutes on every green fixing ball marks. If everyone would fix their ball marks, the greens would be great. I will be playing it several more times the next few months.

While staying with the in-laws, I went out Sunday morning to play by myself. I wasn't sure what to expect but I found a gem! Course in good shape and challenging. I'll be playing every time I visit.

First time on this track and was very pleased but you need GPS to get around . Will be back loved this place.

Wanted to get out of the comfort zone and play some courses that we hadn't ever played before and so this lead me to Old Union. this place was super nice with everything in great shape. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all really excellent. This place is tough to play with tight fairways and fast greens. Really enjoyed it and will for sure come back again.
