About
The Chimneys Golf Course features 18 holes of exceptional golf. Our signature feature is the abundance of native rock found on-site, intricately hand-laid throughout the course to accent our greens, fairways, and pedestal tees. With strict attention to detail and no homes in sight, the course plays as a par 72, just shy of 6500 yards over five sets of tees to accommodate golfers of all abilities. Combined with southern, hometown charm, The Chimneys is an experience unlike any public course in north Georgia.

Great round
Course layout was fun to play. Plenty of short par 4s to help the scoring. Condition was still great on a hot week going into summer
Round took 5 hours to play, but it was fully booked up. Would have been nice to help push a group a couple ahead of us on a hot day.
Fathers Day Outing
This course has really improved in the last 5 years. I have been playing it for the dozen years, and the new owners are really stepping up their game in grounds keeping, and clubhouse amenitiies. Todays round was a fathers day outing that we basically planned two days before so the price was a higher than normal but we didn't care. The weather was beautiful, the course was well cut, they even had a service cart out on the course, which was nice. Great day at great place to play.
Beautiful Golf Course
Even extremely hot weather, it was a pleasure to play here and the staff is very friendly and very efficient! We really enjoyed everything about playing here and will be back soon!
The chimney's winder ga
Nice course . Pretty layout only thing I didn't care for are the slow greens . Get the green's running faster and it's a great course . Not that long only 6500 yds from the tips
Beautiful
Course is in great shape considering how dry it’s been lately. Little tight on the front nine but thinned out on the back. Love this course if you keep it in the fairway lots of wedges to the green.
Great Course
This course is always in great shape and is nicer than most of the private and pricier courses around.
Summer time golf!
Course layout is fantastic, not too challenging from the gold tees. I hate to be that guy but they did just punch the greens with a light sand, no warning when I booked, greens rolled fine just slower and a bit straighter. You can work with it! It was a warm day mid week and the bev cart was making the rounds a lot which is needed on a warm day. Back nine got a little backed up on tee boxes waiting. Overall this course is beautiful and once the greens heal this is the best course in the Winder area!

Great conditions. Greens were rolling true and we played 18 on a holiday in 4 hours.
Fun coarse.
Great place! Friendly staff. Tee boxes and greens in good shape. Would be nice to have an on course bathroom for the women. There is one at the pro shop but us ladies can’t dip to the woods.
