Mirror Lake Golf Club - Lake Course

This is the best shape that the lake course has been in in a long time. Nice fairways. Rough was fair.

Greens were abit slow but full and challenging.

This is an average course. We played "The Lake" course and there were some challenges. I put I would not recommend because there are much better courses out there. There was nothing wrong but as I stated just average. Also, the cart paths are in desperate need of repaving. One hole has a huge section missing. Not very many "grab and go" food choices from the clubhouse either.

The lake course has a good setup but there is no course layout on the scorecard or each hole so course knowledge is important for some shots. Played the back tees and would have played a couple tee shots a little different. Overall it’s a good course, especially for the money. $80 on a Saturday. It’s a long drive from Kennesaw but would return. My only gripe is that the cart girl tried charging us for ice after purchasing drinks. The cart cooler comes empty so naturally we asked for ice to keep the drinks cold and she said that her ice was only for her cart and for mixed drinks. She offered to get us ice from the clubhouse for a healthy fee…I literally thought she was messing with us but she wasn’t. This was on the 3rd hole so at the turn, I walked in the clubhouse and they have an ice bucket ready next to the water machine. So we got ice but had to wait 5 holes and was still shocked since the ice was there for the taking. Although the girl is young, I seriously doubt they trained her that way and we were also paying customers buying cold drinks….Unreal but not course related.

Playing for the Lake Course for the second time in a month. Greens were great and the course was great. Really enjoyed my round. Played from the gold tees and was a good challenge. The staff and restaurant was great. I enjoyed it way more than my first visit and would like to go back soon.

Glad they added this to Golf Now and I am sure they have added some new members. The staff was great, friendly, and welcoming and the course was challenging and fun to play but is not my favorite of all time. The only negative was some of the signage was missing where to turn and had to figure out where a few tee boxes were. Cart paths look like an earthquake hit the area and were really rough. Had rained the day before so front nine was a mud pit but back nine was dry. One of the members yelled at me “you must be golf now?” He told me to turn left at the club house to get to 10 but I knew he was lying because I had played there before. Overall good course but $50 not $80 quality course.

Fairways and greens were perfect...Ball was always setting up. Greens were very fast.

I was a member at Mirror Lake for years. The Lake Course has Bermuda greens, and they roll quick and true. Some holes retain some water, but the course drains well and is always in great shape. There are some interesting hole designs, but they are fun. The cart paths need work. One of the best courses you will find west of Atlanta.

I played the Mountains course. The overall course conditions were good, a few spots on the greens and tees were spotty but greens rolled well. The dart paths could really use some repairs or replacement.

Range was not in great shape and needs yardage markers updated and more regular club cleaning station care.

Clubhouse facilities were nice, staff was great and friendly, also pushing new memberships under new management. Apparel stock was nice assortment and good quality. Could offer better price breaks on clearance or old stock items to keep fresh.

Overall I will be back to play the Lakes course and interested in membership to take advantage of 54-hole layout along with Chapel Hills.

Have played both sides of this course. Mountain course was good.

Lake course … DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The greens are horrendous right now. You could put the pins in the fairway and have the same “greens” experience. It should be half off right now. Greens are covered in sand and putts jump around due to tall grass. Not enjoyable . Not to mention, the driving range is STILL not open to use.
