Carolina National Golf Club - Ibis Nine

The fairways were a bit thin but that's because it's early March. The greens ,as usual were tricky although I did have my best day putting since november.As usual,the staff was their usual helpful selves.

Dead, barren, hardpan fairways. Painted greens that are fast and true. In the summer this course is one of the best. Winter hasn't been kind and the course shows it. Staff as always are very friendly and professional. $29 would have been a fair price.

Booked a9:16 tee off time for our foursome

When verification came on my phone I had our 9:16 but also had 9:32 being charged an additional $168.00

Tried to cancel but wouldn’t let me

I called Carolina National right away to let them know 9:32 was still open so they could fill that time slot

Tried several more times to cancel on GolfNow but could not

Finally called them and was told they couldn’t do anything

Not impressed!!!

Staff and course were great

It is early in the season, the staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be that the golf carts where terrible. We had a foursome so two carts, all 8 tires looked like racing slicks, a couple of times we had to use one cart to push the other up the inclines on the cart path.

Fun course. Good condition for mid February. Greens true. Challenging and interesting layout; but very fair. Had late AM Friday tee time. Completed round in 4 hours. No on course refreshments on this day.

Great place...got behind wrong groups....need a ranger out there to move people along...

Great round, good course which has been well kept up during the winter overall. Greens are green, fast but fair.

There were a lot of golfers and were pushed on most every hole. I had to ask for my clubs to be loaded into my vehicle. The snack bar was not open and you needed to order food and wait if you wanted it. The worse part of the course were the cart paths. They were in such disrepair and was bounced around on every hole

Tee boxes and fairways were a little thin in places, acceptable for January golf. But the greens were excellent !

I was originally paired with a threesome but they had a non playing rider with them so I was paired with another single and we played as a twosome! We waited on many shots (which was expected) because there were a lot of foursomes in front of us on this 75 degree day in late December.

I do think they need to add sand to the bunkers, and perhaps that will be done this year?

It took 5 hours to play. No Marshall on the course.

Very challenging, staff was great. Never played greens like this, very difficult to read. Too many cart path onlt holes although threre was rain the night before. #18 just a crazy hole.

Th course is in fin shape. Just stay on the fairway. Rough is long and can be difficult to find your ball. Greens are lightening fast. Bunkers need more consistency in the sand. I realize there has been much rain here but some bunkers have good fluffy sand and others are like cement. Try to stay or of the bunkers. The views are beautiful. Very friendly course.

Unique layout with subtle challenges. Staff in the pro shop and restaurant were great. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Greens were FAST.
