Kilmarlic Golf Club

The course is in fabulous condition.My only reservation -a serious one - is that today was blazingly hot and not one - NONE - of the water stations had any water. It is not only unconscionable- it is actionable! Yes, the beverage cart did pass us twice and we purchased fluids each time.

The starter told us this is not a long course, but you need to hit the fairway and he was right. This is a not a bombers dream, but you use every club in the bag. With water on 14 of 18 holes accuracy is much more important than distance. Despite near 100 degree heat the course was in great shape. The greens were receptive but quick when putting. This course rewards/punishes those that take risks. The finishing hole is one of the prettiest I have played. I'll play Kilmarlic again!

Very nice course---plays VERY short from the whites--so if you normally, play whites, you might want to go BACK to the yellow/gold (and yes--that is odd....). But playing up at the whites, actually offered several potentially drivable Par 4's, which was fun. These putting greens were simply awesome--perhaps the best I have played, and I have played a lot of "top" courses. Incredibly smooth--like a pool table almost, and that is not an exaggeration---and yet reasonable speed so you could putt to the hole. If only I hit my irons betters, would have been a great round!

My driver was working today so I didn't suffer like the other guys in the foursome. You can lose some golf balls! There are tree lined fairways, water, sand traps, and waste bunkers for your playing pleasure. But the course was interesting, secluded, and in great shape.

Course was in great shape. Layout was challenging and plenty of options for length from tee for beginners to advanced. Greens were nice and smooth. Would recommend for sure

Great course, played in June, a bit busy but still enjoyed it.

This is a top tier golf course. One of the best I have played in many years of golfing throughout the country. Our threesome rented clubs and they were excellent rentals.

The starter takes his job slightly too seriously. He gets an average... Everything else was great. Good looking course. Had a great time.

Excellent layout. Everybody in our group loved the course. Wasn’t as tight as lots were saying but if you hit it way crooked your not gonna find it.

Visiting Outer Banks and was checking Golf Now for deals. Kilmarick popped up, and very happy it did. Staff very friendly, course in great condition from fairways to green. Very warm, near 90, but had several holes in front and behind us, wide open. 3 1/2- 4 hour round, with quick stop at the turn. We had a great time, can't wait to play it again. Thanks Golf Now for this oportunity.

Enjoyed round. Course is fair. Layout straight forward. Pace of play great Course was wide open. Maybe due to not being full summer season. Probably more crowded once area is in full vacation mode

Very nice track, with lots of different holes. Doglegs both ways, short holes, and some great par fours. Course in very good overall condition.

Greens had some tree debris on them, that a simple blower would have solved.

Will come back after summer rates go down and tourist are less prominent.

Great layout, great conditions. Well kept and in great shape.

Played this couse for the first time with six of my buddies. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Course was in great shape, especially the greens. Pace was a little on the slow side, due to the amount of people playing. Had a great time, and will definitely be back again soon.

Got lucky at the desk, paired up with a member and another single from out of town to make for an enjoyable round. Very challenging, and makes you think about where you need to hit a shot to be in good position for the green, can’t just come out swinging for the fences. This course has some of the best scenery I have seen on a course; Truly serene at times. The greens roll very true and were in amazing shape. Must play if you are in the outer banks area.

All the details with this course made it for a perfect weekend in the OBX.

The staff was friendly, courteous, and kind. Did not hesitate to assist in making this one of the best golfing experiences of my life.

The amenities were world class and being less than a 100 yards from the clubhouse, practice facility, and 1st tee created a "one of a kind" experience.

The food and drinks exceeded my expectations and always had someone at the bar or riding around in the beverage cart making sure we were not hungry or thirsty. Pro tip: The Kilmarlic lemonade was a perfect mid round treat.

Beautiful course, terrible amenities. No water on the course in 90 degree/100% humidity...without telling us in the clubhouse before we teed off. No food available, told us the kitchen was closed when we tried to order at the turn. No drink cart. Paid almost $100 to get heat stroke in the Outer Banks. Go to another course that cares if you play there
