The Tillery Tradition Country Club

fairways/tee boxes were being done same day.
greens were areated recently. wish i would have know before hand when booking .

We had driven down from Cleveland to thaw out and tee it up. We were completely blown away by this course. The staff couldn't have been anymore accommodating. The course was in beautiful shape and very challenging although fair. The restaurant was very nice as was our server. A great place to enjoy a great meal at a reasonable price before a 10 hour drive home. The Tillery Tradition can have my money any day and I will gladly make an 1,100 mile round trip drive to play there again!

I live 30 miles from the course and though it had rained here in the last few daysit wasn't heavy. The course conditions were as though they had a heavy downpour prior to play. That was the only issu I had. For winter the course was superbly maintained. Large but tough greens test your ability to sink putts.

Staff was not friendly but the course layout was great.will go back once weather changes and course greens up.

I love the layout of this course. Of course the fairways were brown but you can tell its going to be beautiful in the warmer months. about 1 hour from home, further than i usually go to play. But it was well worthit. Will be going again. I'll probably play from the blue tees next time as thegold tees make it a little too short.

There are dead spots on the greens. Some of the tee boxes are rough.
Other than that, this is a beautiful course and it is very common to see wildlife on many fairways. Beautiful Club House and great cart paths.

Nice Course. Fairways are bermuda, so they had already turned brown but in good shape. Keep ball in fairway and no issues, outside fairway leave trouble but it is that time of year. Greens were in great shape for the most part. Being first time at course wish they had course book, would suggest printing hole viewer from webpage. Playing partner first time as well at course so many holes were "blind" holes, would have definitely benefited from course book. Not as long as I thought, would have left driver in bag on certain holes.

Played course for first time nice course would recommend to anybody who likes a challenge.

The course is in very good shape and well maintained. There were a couple of greens that need attention around the edges. Overall it was a great time. I have played here many times and enjoyed it each time.

This course is a hidden gem. Fall color was awesome! Holes are challenging but fair. Tee box condition could improve, but overall a great day of golfing. I'll definitely be back!

Pro shop staff was fantastic food service staff fantastic only negative was grounds crew member who I thought was a redneck it does not hurt anyone to say hello when addressed tried to be friendly individual not only ignored us but gave us a look like we had a lot of nerve speaking to him but we put that idiot aside and had a great time

I happened to be visiting family along Lake Tillery and was able to book a round after reading other golfnow reviews. The course is in very good condition - I played after a few days of rain and had no problem with soaked fairways or greens.

I like the layout with the rolling fairways and uneven lies - makes the round more challenging and the views more enjoyable.

Hidden gem. Only wish I wasn't an hour away.
Staff is great...owners are great...members are great.

This ain't your typical country club...with snooty ten cent millionaires. These are good...salt of the earth type folks. Only club I go to where the parking lot is filled with Chevy Trucks vs. German luxury sedans....and I LOVE THAT!

Conditions of course excellent. Losing a little of the greens here and there around some edges maybe fungus I don't know. Typical summertime ballmarks but better than most courses I've played lately. Greens rolled slow but true. Great time with my two sons and a friend. Even had my grandson ride with us so thoroughly enjoyable day for me despite the summer heat and humidity. One of my favorite courses.

Challenging course with alot of character. Course is in excellent shape

We played on a hot July Day! It seemed to keep all the other golfers at home. This was a beautiful course. Well maintained and the facilities are in wonderful condition. The course was so quite and peaceful. Had the back nine to our selfs. Overall truely impressed with this course.

Love the course ground hard on iron little softer it will be real good
