Harbour View Golf Complex

Perfect course for the my grandsons first time on a golf course. He hit balls on the driving range the day before (Habour View) and did quite well for the first time out. Wanted him to get a good feel for the game and looks like he can quickly go on a regular course. Obviously needs practice and clubs of his own (he is 6 foot 4inches tall) and my clubs do not fit but it was a great outing and a good time as well as a beautiful day.

Course layout was great. Greens need work. Fairways were acceptable on most holes.

Would recommend a starter or person to watch pace and coach newer players to the game. Would speed up some play and protect the course grounds.

We started our Myrtle beach golf vacation with a round at this Par 3 . It wa s exactly what we were looking for, a place to ‘knock IFF’ the winter rust after a couple months of inactivity. Reasonable prices, very friendly staff , great pace of play. Would recommend and return.

Greens are poorly maintained. Very slow and bumpy even for February weather.

Had to hit off mats. They were in good condition but it was tough to recalibrate from grass. Greens were very fuzzy and many greens had spots filled with sand. If you missed the green surrounding areas were very rough or totallly beaten up. Played 18 in 1.25 hours. Longest hole was 160. Most between 100 and 125 yards

Did not get to play because of thunder, lightning and rain.

Showed up for my tee time and nobody was there. No call, no text, or email.

This course has a friendly staff and a good layout. Unfortunately, the course is a wreck as far as conditions are concerned. The tees, fairways and greens are all in need of a serious overhaul and repair.

Most of the fairways have as much sand and weeds as they do fairway grass. Most of the time if you play it where it lies you might as well be in a sand trap.

I signed up because I wanted to work on my wedges and lower irons. The yardages vary from 65 yards to 165 yards which is a good test for SW-7 iron.

I do like the layout but it can’t make up for the poor condition of the course.

It’s what you should expect from a par 3 that gets played a lot. Greens were thick and slow but were without much blemishes. Staff was incredible and made it a great experience for my wife who is a new golfer. The matt tee boxes from the back tees were a different feeling (not sure I liked or didn’t like). Will play again if we are in the area.
