Pines at Woodmont Country Club
About
The Pines is one of two championship golf courses at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac. It and the Cypress Course share a gently rolling landscape that is sprinkled with mature trees, which frame the views from the elevated tees. While they share the same terrain, the courses offer very different challenges. The lengthier Cypress requires both distance and accuracy while the Pines Course will get you thinking. It is a shot maker's course that will test a variety of skills. Course management is key as is a well thought out strategy for every hole. The layout features undulating greens and tree-lined fairways that also place a premium on accurate shot placement. In addition to the golf courses, Woodmont C.C. also has a driving range and two putting greens for golfers to use.

First time playing Woodmont
This course is very nice, greens are great, staff is friendly, even while they are going through the renovations. I and my friends had a great time. Weather was nice too. Can’t wait to do it again!
On its way to become an amazing course
Great front nine. On its way to become an excellent course. Greens roll true and fast. The Pines will be back soon according to the friendly greens keepers. Back Cypress has a complete renovation process and will be ready sometime October of this year. Overall good experience. Just bring or buy the adult beverage of choice.
Only 9 holes are open right now
For GolfNow users and for the general public, it needs to be noted that only nine holes are open at this time. This is not posted on GolfNow and the golf Shop staff did not mention this.
Cypress Back NIne Closed
I wish Golf Now would have let me know the back nine was closed. So I ended up playing Cypress front nine and then the Pines. The Pines is a normally a fun nine but not in the condition it is in now. The greens are nothing but sanded and painted dirt. the few patches of grass on the greens act as Plinko pegs to knock your putt offline. With all this said I was very unhappy and would not recommend this course at this time. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I love playing this course and look forward to coming back when the Cypress back nine is open again.
Only first 9 holes available
Unfortunately I was not informed that they are redoing the last 9 holes and we had to play the first 9 holes twice.
The course is being rebuilt.
The course is in the second phase of a total makeover. The front nine is playable, and quite nice, as it was the first phase no finished part of the reconstruction.
We played the front nine twice.
There is plenty of visible, re-construction (trucks and manpower).
That said, there was NOBODY on the course, and the front 9 played twice was enjoyable.
Fairways and greens in good shape.
When the back nine gets finished this should be a very nice course.
Shouldn't be open for 18 right now
Three 9-hole courses. One is closed for renovations, which is of course fine. First 9 we played was great, good condition. Back 9 greens were unfortunately all green divot sand. No warning about this, which could be a Golf Now issue and not the course, I'm not sure. Either way, not worth the price in its current condition. Maybe when they finish renovations on the other 9, it will be worth revisiting.
First 9 were good, and the back 9 greens were unplayable.
First 9 were good, and the back 9 greens were unplayable. Paid $55 to play 18 but only first 9 were playable. App should have had this update as well as when we checked in at the course, they didn't tell us about this, or why would I pay $55.
Great potential
The front 9 for cypress is in great condition. Tee boxes, fairways, and green. Once the back 9 is complete, those 18 holes will be amazing to play. Better driving rage would make this a 4.5 star course. I’d recommend if you’re okay with a crappy conditions back 9 as of now. Hopefully it is fully renovated by 2026.
Back 9 under renovation and you have the option to play the (Cypress) front 9 twice or play the Pines and Cypress. I would highly recommend playing the Cypress twice.
9 Shocking Holes
The first 9 holes of the 27 hole layout were great…. Good condition fairways and greens….
With the second 9 closed for new greens and tees, we were moved to the 3rd nine to make up the 18….
What a disaster!!!
Absolutely shockingly poor condition. Tees and fairways were very ooor, but the back nine greens were disgraceful….
Obviously they have rarely been used….90% sand, hardly any grass, bumpy and impossible to putt on….
Don’t waste your money until they reopen the second 9 holes…
Disgraceful that the club take money from people for playing on this ‘course’…
Should be a 9 hole course Now.
Ok definitely appreciate how the Front 9 of Cypress is in above average shape. Issue is that the other 9 holes are closed AND that the Pines greens are burnt and vastly different from Cypress. That wasn’t the case in January when both those sides were comparable.
Great Front nine
Cypress 1 was a pleasure to play, championship layout, Pines was in good shape other than the greens, with some work this could be a 5* facility
Cyprus, one was a great 9 holes. However, the pine's 9 holes was a disaster went in to talk to the prosha. Who could not be less accommodating. What a disaster, this person should not be dealing with customers.
Thank you for coming back out and playing with us. As you stated we renovated the front 9 of the cypress course last summer with new greens, tees and bunkers. We are now renovating the back 9 of the cypress course this summer so it will look just like the front 9. For the remainder of the summer we will be having play on the cypress front 9 and pines. We expect the back 9 of the cypress to reopen in october.
