About
The Pines is one of two championship golf courses at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac. It and the Cypress Course share a gently rolling landscape that is sprinkled with mature trees, which frame the views from the elevated tees. While they share the same terrain, the courses offer very different challenges. The lengthier Cypress requires both distance and accuracy while the Pines Course will get you thinking. It is a shot maker's course that will test a variety of skills. Course management is key as is a well thought out strategy for every hole. The layout features undulating greens and tree-lined fairways that also place a premium on accurate shot placement. In addition to the golf courses, Woodmont C.C. also has a driving range and two putting greens for golfers to use.

Nice course
It was a fun day. The course has a very nice layout and the staff were very friendly.
We were stuck behind a group of novice golfers with no knowledge of golf pace and etiquette. The pro shop staff came out and moved them along but after 2 holes, they were back at being ignorant and slow. The golf course is definitely worth the play and I’ll play again I hope.
Just okay
All under construction. Enjoyed the front 9 but the nine was at pines course really bad badly kept as it was under construction and holes would not register on my Garmin. Great front terrible back 9.

Great conditioning
Course was nicely manicured. Greens rolled true with good pace. Gree surroundings were very playable. Fairways were green and firm. Quite a few holes with water crossing the fairway so some tee shots required lay up off the tee. Played senior tees and course still played a little long.
Fun and challenging course
The upside - I like the track a lot. It has a number of doglegs plus par 5s with water carry on the 2nd shot. Pat 3s are fair with varying yardages.
The downside - no driving range but there are nets to hit into and there’s a practice chipping green along with a separate putting green. Also, course conditions are a bit scruffy but very playable
Good round for the koney
Nice layout. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Definitely recommend.
Not great…but not terrible
For the money, it’s pretty good. Layouts on some holes are really tough. Some holes, depending on course you’re playing, are miles from each other. Good thing the golf carts at the course fly! Would recommend playing here.
Challenging course without being too difficult. A good test of course management. The traps need more sand

My wife and I really enjoyed this course. We had played the Oaks earlier in the week and enjoyed this layout more. Both courses were in good shape, which Cypress a little better. We added this to our list of favorites.
Below Par
This course was one of the worst public tracks I’ve ever played in the Ft Lauderdale area. Greens were half decent but every other aspect of the course was awful. Poor tee boxes, terrible bunkers, fairways were bad. I highly recommend playing somewhere else. The 4 star rating on golf now is a joke. Way overpriced for an $85 course!
