Pines at Woodmont Country Club
About
The Pines is one of two championship golf courses at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac. It and the Cypress Course share a gently rolling landscape that is sprinkled with mature trees, which frame the views from the elevated tees. While they share the same terrain, the courses offer very different challenges. The lengthier Cypress requires both distance and accuracy while the Pines Course will get you thinking. It is a shot maker's course that will test a variety of skills. Course management is key as is a well thought out strategy for every hole. The layout features undulating greens and tree-lined fairways that also place a premium on accurate shot placement. In addition to the golf courses, Woodmont C.C. also has a driving range and two putting greens for golfers to use.

Woodmont
Employee at the pro shop named Adam is extremely irritable and unresponsive. Pace of play was acceptable. Conditions were acceptable except for cart paths ,sandy greens, and some unplayable rough. Poor signage to direct the player around the course. The driving range is nets with a small chipping area. Clubhouse is new but lacks a strong impression. Course layout is average. Mainly a community golf course for local residents.
Great course
Very friendly staff. Course was well maintained. Reasonably priced course. Will play again!
Decent track
Well if you’ve ever wanted a good start to a round visit this course. The starter Joe is a great guy! Show up early and share a few words with him; you’ll be glad you did. This course was nice and worth the money. Only thing is you should try to get out with someone who’s played here before because there’s some spots where you shouldn’t hit driver due to water or certain areas you should avoid due to water and you can’t see the water from the tees. Over all good conditions but found the green a little slow. Temporary TeeBox on 18 due to construction but nothing crazy. Give it a go it’s worth a round!
Excellent condition of course
This is one of the best in the area that I played. Very friendly staff, nice gesture of giving me a bottle of water and bringing the cart to my car as soon as I pulled up in to the parking lot. The course was in great shape and the pace of play was excellent. Will play there again.
Cypress and pine
Cypress back nine was great but pine 9 is to avoid. Pay the full price avoid the early bird combo with Pines.
Great couse.
Great course. A little difficult to find some of the tee boxes. I never did.find #18. Staff is incredible. I hope I get the chance to play again.
What sand?
The bunkers particularly those green side need to be ploughed. Little or no sand at the bottom of many, making up and downs rather difficult.
