Pines at Woodmont Country Club
About
The Pines is one of two championship golf courses at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac. It and the Cypress Course share a gently rolling landscape that is sprinkled with mature trees, which frame the views from the elevated tees. While they share the same terrain, the courses offer very different challenges. The lengthier Cypress requires both distance and accuracy while the Pines Course will get you thinking. It is a shot maker's course that will test a variety of skills. Course management is key as is a well thought out strategy for every hole. The layout features undulating greens and tree-lined fairways that also place a premium on accurate shot placement. In addition to the golf courses, Woodmont C.C. also has a driving range and two putting greens for golfers to use.

Split courses
First time on the Pines 9 holes, split with the Cypress back 9. Good layout, it's just an odd setup. Driving around the Pines was tricky, having never played there before, and driving by holes that you can clearly tell used to be golf holes but aren't anymore.
Greens on the Pines were in better shape than Cypress, and I enjoyed that nine. I like Woodmont. Kind of wish I had the cash to join.
I played the Cypress Course
Enjoyable round. The greens didn't look great, but rolled true, no lumps or bumps to spoil putts. It's a nice track and if. you don't mind some minor headaches with house construction, you'll enjoy it. Cart paths are a bit bumpy because of roots, and if you don't know the course, pay attention to the spray painted directions on the ground. Beverages were readily available on course, which was great on a typical hot, humid day.
Nice find
Course very enjoyable despite the disruption caused by new home construction on the property.
Great course
First time playing there and will definitely do it again. Really enjoyed the course.
Course condition
Course was in a much better shape last year. Fairways are not as lush as they used to be and greens are not as good as they were last year. I hope it gets better especially that they raised their prices from last year.
Worth it!
What a great experience. Great price! The course was in great condition. The staff was very nice. Great clubhouse. Nice chipping and putting area ( no range unfortunately). This may be my new favorite local course.
Course has been better in the past, overall condition of the fairways and greens could be better.
Fairways and bunkers are like cement
If you go out as a single, and you don't want to ride with a stranger, they charge you $25 more to ride alone. The fairways make it difficult to get a divot because there is absolutely no fluffiness to them, they are hard as concrete. A lot of construction going on, even on Sunday. Greens were also not true. Biggest problem, NO RANGE!! Better be a good cold player. Won't be back for a long, long, time.
Nice Course
Played it from the whites the first round then the blue tees the next round. Very manageable. The greens were nice and the course was in good shape as well.
