Pines at Woodmont Country Club
About
The Pines is one of two championship golf courses at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac. It and the Cypress Course share a gently rolling landscape that is sprinkled with mature trees, which frame the views from the elevated tees. While they share the same terrain, the courses offer very different challenges. The lengthier Cypress requires both distance and accuracy while the Pines Course will get you thinking. It is a shot maker's course that will test a variety of skills. Course management is key as is a well thought out strategy for every hole. The layout features undulating greens and tree-lined fairways that also place a premium on accurate shot placement. In addition to the golf courses, Woodmont C.C. also has a driving range and two putting greens for golfers to use.

Very nice course, had an enjoyable round
First time playing this track and it was in great condition and I played the layout well. Greens rolled very well too.
Woodmont Cypress
Friendly Staff
Course is in good shape
Greens in good shape
I would recommend this course
Greens Not Up to Normal Standard
The greens were not as nice as I remember from my last visit.
I will be back!
First time playing here, I had a 7:15 tee time and played in 3 hours.
I played all 18 on Cypress and overall it was in good shape. A few greens did need some love but rolled true. The fairways were nice and no bare spots.
There is new home construction going on so you need to follow the signs to get from hole to hole (more signs w/arrows would help).
I enjoyed the course and layout and will play here again soon, overall a good experience.
Nice course one rude staff member
Course was in great shape for this time of year. The starters were nice. The tee boxes on some holes require a drill to get your tee through dirt but other than that we were please with the fairways and greens. If you can get past “Adam the Grouch” inside the pro shop you will have a good time. I asked him for a price on one of the golf balls and he responded “ Its on the wall”. I asked if there was a bathroom he said “straight down” without even pointing where to go as he looked the other way. Adam needs to find a job far away from the public. Woodmont put a nice personable human inside and watch your sales go sky high !
Nice clubhouse
New course for me. Little tired on course conditions and still under construction w temporary signs. But greens rolled true. Nice clubhouse recently renovated. Big downside no driving range though.
What happened
Massive amount of ball marks on every green. Tee box have been neglected since my last time playing the course about 3 months ago.
Overall the course appeared neglected.
Always solid
Getting to the Pines 9 is half the fun and a little dangerous, but it's a solid set up. I'm also a fan of the entire Cypress 18 hole layout too. Good people at Woodmont
Split courses
First time on the Pines 9 holes, split with the Cypress back 9. Good layout, it's just an odd setup. Driving around the Pines was tricky, having never played there before, and driving by holes that you can clearly tell used to be golf holes but aren't anymore.
Greens on the Pines were in better shape than Cypress, and I enjoyed that nine. I like Woodmont. Kind of wish I had the cash to join.
