Championship at Colony West Country Club

Pace of play was great. Course was in very good condition and a great value. I will be back again and again Even enjoyed lunch at the restaurant after our round

This could be the best course in south fla. A terrific layout let down by poor conditioning. Most of us want nice greens. CW USED TO have excellent greens. Not anymore. Slow and bumpy. Fairways barely have any grass. Good luck around the greens. There too, bare. Mud and/or dirt lies. What a shame. And don't expect anyone to help with ur bag on the way in or out, or, God forbid, clean clubs after ur round.

And did I mention they don't have a driving range? They need a new superintendent who actually knows how to grow grass. Problem is, most courses down here have very little to brag about. Davie golf club just replaced their greens, and is set to open 11/1. It's gotta be better than this place...

Course is in very good condition pace of play is good. Great value for early season golf

Tee off just fair. Fairways very bare and hard. Greens are acceptable but a little slow.

I have played Colony West 50+ times in 5 years. Usually by October it is ready for the "snow birds"; however, the fairways are so thin and sparse. Not sure how this happens with as much rain as we are getting but forget about being able to take a divot and pray that your ball stops on a patch of grass (usually dirt).

Paid for a full round for the championship course they didn’t tell me the back nine was closed and the greens are in terrible shape can’t putt with all them holes in the ground

Course have been improving over the last year. Greens still need some work it was hard putting because of patches of bad grass, fairways grass was sparse in some areas. Overall a great deal and very interesting layout. I would recommend playing
