Tee shot on #8 par 3 Photo submitted by tmlo on 05/05/2013
Great
Fun day. One small suggestion. Better directions between a couple of holes.
Not a good experience
It took just under 3 hrs to play nine holes. It was brutally slow and the only saving grace was that the course did provide a 50% credit on my greens fee. However, the credit can only be used toward pro shop merchandise.
The course was in pretty rough shape. Tee boxes had almost no grass and the fairways and greens are pretty crewed up.
To much play here and they don’t seem to care for the course conditions
Nice layout, poor condition
First off, no practice range. Holes poorly marked so make sure they pair you up with a local. Greens ok but most tee boxes are sand. Pace of play was good on the front but bogged down on the 12th. Staff was good and the grill had good food and prices
Horrible Course
Course was void of grass, which was a shame since layout had possibilities. But like hitting off of bare pavement all day.
Trying to get a ready made sandwich or even a hot dog at the turn meant waiting 10 or more minutes for it to be prepared. No way to call ahead and nothing ready to grab and go. To add insult to injury, when done, no one helped with clubs, the car lot was far away and the closest driveway to where clubs were was blocked off.
All in all an absolutely horrible golf experience, and must add I have played golf in 50 countries....and experienced it all.
Fairways Not in Good shape
hard pressed to find grass to hit off. Felt like hitting off hard pan all day Nice course layout but conditions could be better.
Old lady stole my sons ball
Good place. Greens a little beat up but staff very friendly and nice.
We hit into the water and to our surprise before we had a chance to even get to it, some old lady used a ball grabber and in front of our foursome took our ball. We asked for it back but she kept it, claiming it was part of three balls that she just found. Couldn’t believe what we saw / heard! Unreal. We considering hitting into them but then decided to just let it go until this last rant.
Also we saw the players cart at least 6 times but never saw the cart gal more than twice (it was hot).
Be weary of the old ladies with their golf ball grabbers as I think they liken it to outdoor bingo!
Good golfing test
Played for the first time and enjoyed the different challenges around the course. All staff were very friendly. Stayed for some food afterwards and really enjoyed the meal sat on the outside terrace. Worthy of future visits!
Open course. Good layout
Friendly staff. Great restaurant bar. Appearantly professional course at one time. Only negative is thin grass fairways and tee boxes.
Fabulous Golf Find near Fort Lauderdale
We bought rounds from TeeOff for a great price. The course was in really good shape. The greens ran true.
We finished the Champ course in under 4 hours.
High recommendation!
