Devlin and VonHagge designed this course, which challenges even experienced golfers. It has been rated by Golf Digest to be among the 50 top courses in the United States. The signature hole on the Championship Course is #12, a 452-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot through a cypress forest to an island green.
This 7,161 yards, par 71 course has narrow fairways, a deep rough as well as plenty of water and bunkers. Enjoy the fast greens and the excitement of knowing you're on one of the best.

First round of year
Great experience! Booked last minute and got paired up with some local guys that were a lot of fun to play with. Staff was super friendly! Course was in decent shape but could use some water. Great layout that was both fun and challenging. Great place for a first round after a long winter.
Waiting for an Airplane to Arrive
I played this course with an older husband and wife and a middle age relative. They were all very nice and it was a good afternoon. If I had played better that would have made it even better. The course is good fairways ok but the greens were rolling well. The price was good and i would recommend this course. Onre suggestion would be to bring back cups where you get water at the starters area. Everyone does not remember to bring theiir own bottle.
Average Course.
Many dried out areas in the fairways. greens were fast and dry. Bag drop area is small and crowded. Course layout is good.
Fun course…would play again
Course was pretty nice Greens were real quick. Played late on a Sunday in under 4 hours so no complaints

Nice Course
Colony West had a nice layout and the conditions were ok given that we are still in winter. Unfortunately, the play was slow.
Greens in good shape
Greens in good shape overall course needs work. dried out grass, missing grass in many areas.
Dry Course
We enjoyed our round of golf but found the course to be very dry. Fairways and rough areas had patches of no grass making it hard to decide the type of club mostly due to the turf. Course had some challenging holes with dog legs and strategically placed water. Parking is not great but that will be a future challenge when the hotel opens up.
Poor condition
No grass in many areas on the fairways and around the greens
Greens are in excellent shape
Fairways dry and ground hard at times due to a lack of watering. Everyone friendly and courteous.
Bigger Glades
They let this course go, it used to be a decent course, fairways with long grass, greens with a lot of flaws. For the price is not worth it
