Golfer Reviews
So Disappointed!!!
Want to start by saying that this is absolutely one of the best layed out courses in SoFla. That staff was friendly & new pro shop was nice. The course was in terrible condition. Recent rain was problem with greens & give the greens an honest pass. But around the greens were bad. Grass patches here & there, with dirt & sand everywhere else. Tee boxes in poor condition.
Truly a disappointment that this layout is treated so poorly. & the fact that they try to extort premium price is ridiculous. City of Tamarac(owners) should either turn this green space into a park, OR BETTER YET, invest the same $$$ into the course & have A GEM that could return revenue to the city. You know, like Palm Beach County does with their courses.
Very challenging course.
The layout of the course is very challenging, however the tee boxes and fairways require better upkeep. Tee boxes are over used and bare. Fairway also has bare patches and clumps of crabgrass.
The clubhouse/proshop facilities are new and very expansive.
But I question why there was no beverycarts on the course on Sunday Father’s Day on a bery hot humid day?
Great course, tee boxes only flaw
Amazing course! Immaculate all around except tee boxes. Some of them are rough.
Friday Special!
Went to play colony golf club to relax and enjoy the day. Was throughly impressed with bag drop / pro shop and course pace of play / condition. Really enjoyed the day!
Vastly Improved
The course is in very good condition - best in months if not years. The new clubhouse and facilities are excellent. Definitely a must play now as I'm sure that come fall/winter it will be sold out most days.
Great day
A little wet from rain but it’s a great course
First time I’m here since the new pro shop is open. Beautiful
Had lunch in the new restaurant which was excellent
Staff was extremely attentive
Will be back soon
First time since redo
Give this course some more time - excellent layout but tee boxes need attention and fairways can be less than average. New clubhouse and future facilities will make this an attractive place to play in the future once the grass comes back in all the right places.
Greens were punched with no notification from course or Golfnow.
Putting was impossible, tee boxes were poor. Interesting layout but it has been in much better condition...why weren’t we alerted about the greens?
