The Cypress Course at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac is named after the mature trees that line the fairways and frame the views from the elevated tees. The course measures 7,043 yards and features undulating greens that are a challenge too with carefully shaped contours that are subtle but tricky. It is a golf course that requires not only distance, but also accuracy and a good course management.

Course in very good shape
The course is in great shape. The greens were great and quite fast. Enjoyed the round.
Only got 5 holes and was rained out. Late starting due to cart shortage. They gave us a rain check!

Hidden Gem
Exceptional greens and firm, tight fairways laid out with considerable thought that provide a great challenge to all level of players. Played 18 in 2hrs 20mins at midday on a Saturday which is unheard of this time of year. Easily the best executive style course in the area.
A Must Play
I’ve been on a quest to find a descent course to play in the Fort Lauderdale area. This one is definitely in my top three. Greens were in great shape and true. The layout was fun. Staff was terrific.
Good course for the price I paid ($11)
Been raining for the last 2 weeks. CPO today, but the course was in good shape. No standing water, but soggy.
The hot deal should be cheaper, but that's another topic.
as for pace of play, got stuck behind a 3 some of 80 year old men who wouldn't let our 2 some pass no matter what. Wasn't with it to call the ranger, we just skipped a hole.

Very enjoyable day. Staff very friendly and helpful. Course in great shape with greens rolling smooth. I highly recommend this course for a great round.
Nice green
Good conditions fairway and green, play in less that four hour. Good price for playing that course
Slammed with rain, kept playing
So we got slammed with about 30 minutes of rain (downpour) around home 4.
Waited it out as we were in no-mans-land and would’ve got soaked riding the cart back.
We had packed up ready to go. Everything looked flooded.
Decided to play when the rain subsided and was pleasantly surprised.....everything drained quickly besides some of the lower level areas (sprinkler heads).
Greens were damp, but not a single puddle within 3-5 minutes of the rain ending. They also rolled good.
We played Pines 9 (1-9) and Cypress 2 (10-18). Not too fond of the Pines side. You have to drive thru 18 holes to play 9. Some older holes are weeds (getting ready for construction) and the cart path sucks. Not smooth.
Will go back for the right price hot deal. Anything more than $25 is not worth it.

Best Golfing Value in the Coral Springs Area
I played twice as a single while visiting my brother from RI. I had planned to play a different course for the 2nd round but Woodmont was so enjoyable, I played there twice. The the layout and condition of the course are excellent. Expect greens that are a lot faster than the Northeast. The staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. And the food was excellent and modestly priced. So what more could one want? A practice range? Well, I was told they are working on that. I highly recommend Woodmont.
Great layout, good greens
This is a good test, the layout is exciting, Greens are undulated but fair. Can be played with a lot of different strategies off the tees. The new clubhouse is much more accommodating than the old one. Staff is super friendly and informative. I Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good test.
