About
Located just north of Tampa in Tarpon Springs, Crescent Oaks Country Club sprawls across rolling hills dotted with sparkling lakes. The narrow course has a traditional layout that was carefully carved from dense woodlands, making it a challenging test. The lakes as well as a meandering creek come into play throughout the golf course. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. The par-5 10th is one of the most memorable holes with an elevated green and a ridge cutting across the middle. Par is considered a good score on this tricky hole. The golf course finishes with a par-4 dogleg left that features water along the entire left side of the fairway. The green is also protected by sand on the right and water on the opposite side.

A chalenge
The course was average condition
The staff were super friendly

Pretty good course
Went out at midday so it was very open. Overall conditions were good considering the weather we've been having. Greens are very small which was challenging -- probably above my skill level, but was good practice for dialing in approach shots. Given my level, I will try to take advantage of deals and summer rates
Extremely Slow
Beginning on 3rd hole waited every shot. Playing thru not an option due to groups waiting every hole. At the turn asked in pro shop about a ranger- said no ranger in afternoons. Finally gave up after 11 holes. No fun to have to wait every single shot.
Tee boxes were rough, fairways ok, greens good. With lack of rain lately, this is typical of most courses.
I have always enjoyed the layout here but the pace of play today was horrible.

Tea boxes need work. Very small greens..
I understand it's under new ownership. Hopefully the boxes will be improved for next year.
Nice course
Nice course, their overseeding made a lot of the fairways very playable. Greens were in decent shape for this time of year but a little thin in a few places. Very friendly staff.
Great Course
Course was in great condition. Fairways and greens the best I have seen in the area after playing 12 different courses. Highly recommend Crescent Oaks.
Course was fun to play from white tees
Teetime at 8:45, nobody in front of us, tthreesome play in 3:45😊

Good solid course
The course is generally a good one. Everything is in pretty good shape. A couple of greens here or there could be better, but no real complains. We were stacked up 4 groups deep on the tee box, which I thought was ridiculous for 9:30 on a weekday morning. However, once we actually got going we only had to wait once and finished the round in just under 4 hours, so it seemed to be only an issue starting.
