Crescent Oaks Country Club

This round had some good and not so good.

Pace of play was exceptional. I went out as a single and finished 18 holes in 3 hours.

Greens were in good shape and not too fast or not to slow. Putting was very fair.

Sand traps were not good. Cake-like and course. No powder.

Fairways were good, there were some patches of weeds but not overwhelming. Tee boxes were very rough and hard to find a clean grass part to tee up.

Worst part was the roughs had been very recently cut and there were so many clumps of cut wet grass that balls that visibly landed in the rough disappeared in the piles of cut grass. Balls that I could visibly see bouncing in the rough were UNetrievable and lost. Not in woods or water, in areas only 10-20 to right or left of fairways.

Played for the first time this weekend. Course was in good shape. The starter and marshals kept a good play of pace. The staff was very friendly. Solid course and a fair value. Would recommend!

Beautiful course!!! Very well kept… a couple of spots that are a little bare, but you can tell they are working on improving it. No biggie. A lot of blind corners, around trees, makes it easy to lose your ball because you can’t keep sight of it. Some narrow fairways to keep it challenging. I’d definitely go again.

Overall I was happy with the course. Getting the hot deal $40 round certainly made it worth it. The greens were dry and had some dead spots. The tee box’s were beat up but, whatever. Good time was had by all. The thing that struck me as odd was the size of the greens. They are so small for the size track this place is. I’d play again.

Really wonderful staff, and the course has amazing layout, but the conditions were rough. The majority of all the tee boxes were uneven, and several of them were just lacking grass entirely. The greens probably were awesome in the past, but they were recently sanded, and there were massive areas that were burnt.

I’ve never played here before but I have recently played at other local courses, and they were able to make the greens and the boxes much better.

The morning rate, is overpriced for the current conditions in my opinion.

Found the course in great shape, fairway were full and lush.

Used to play this course a lot but started going elsewhere.

Played yesterday here for the first time in a couple months. Looks like they got the Po Ana under control on the greens but they burnt half of them. Half of the green were slow and burnt. The other half was pretty good.

Good value after twilight but I’ll still be going elsewhere.

Play here often. They are keeping the course nice. Will be back soon.. Fun course to play.

I used to be a member until New Management came in and up the price, but with Golf Now I can still get a decent rate in the afternoon

I played just after a bad rain storm. The course held up very well. Greens are very small but roll very well. The staff is very customer friendly and go out of the way to help. Will definitely play here again.

The course was in excellent shape the workers were incredibly wonderful. IWILL play again !!

Cresent Oaks recently punched the greens but they did it very well so playability wasn't badly affected. Course is in great shape and is fun to play. Highly recommend for value and playability.

Always enjoy playing Crescent Oaks. They have been continually making improvements. The course is in good shape. Greens are healing up from being punched a couple weeks ago, but the ball is rolling pretty true, but maybe a little slow right now
