About
Located just north of Tampa in Tarpon Springs, Crescent Oaks Country Club sprawls across rolling hills dotted with sparkling lakes. The narrow course has a traditional layout that was carefully carved from dense woodlands, making it a challenging test. The lakes as well as a meandering creek come into play throughout the golf course. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. The par-5 10th is one of the most memorable holes with an elevated green and a ridge cutting across the middle. Par is considered a good score on this tricky hole. The golf course finishes with a par-4 dogleg left that features water along the entire left side of the fairway. The green is also protected by sand on the right and water on the opposite side.

Oaks Play
Staff professional and courteous. Course in excellent condition except for tee boxes which really need some immediate attention. Horrible pace of play and typically no "on course" ranger to monitor pace of play. Course allows golfers to start on hole number 10 after 3pm. This has a hugely negative impact on those making the turn. On course restaurant, Oaks Grille, service below acceptable standard, incredibly slow and not much motivation noted.
Empty
Course was empty due to Valspar tournament. Course was in pretty good condition. Greens a little inconsistent but no dead spots. Ran slow and fast. Tee boxes not the best though.
Cresent April
Professional and courteous staff, facilities in great shape and course is very challenging . Course conditions are excellent but many tee boxes are in horrible condition. Tried to eat dinner after my round but it was Burger Night plus Trivia Night and they were seriously understaffed. Wanted for a while but became frustrated so I went down the road for dinner.
Fun layout
Small greens, that putt decent. Course is a little worn in places. Plenty of water hazards.
Always enjoy the course. A bit pricey compared to others in the area. We usually have a 29.95 coupon through a coupon book. Why not drop price to 35 or 40, would definitely play more often.
The Grille closes at 6pm?!?
Came off playing a good round with friends and wanted to grab a bite to eat and afew cocktails. We walked into the Oak Grille in the club house at 6:10pm on Sunday and the bar tender told us they are closed.
Craziness. There is good sports bar about 10 minutes south called Varsity Club.
Nice course
This is a very nice course. Friendly staff friendly helpful starter.
T boxes are a little rough and need some maintaining, but the fairways are above average and greens were very nice.

Mediocre course for the cost. Even with the lower price through GN, I pd 10-15 dollars more than what it was worth.
Great layout
Loved the layout of the course. Lots of water and sand bunkers. Challenging but fun! We got paired with a couple, he works at the course and they were awesome to play with and knowledgeable of the course so that was a great help. Would definitely play again. Some areas are in need of work but over all great course for money.
Great value
Other than a couple sketchy fairway patches, the course was in good shape and greens rolled nicely
