About
Located just north of Tampa in Tarpon Springs, Crescent Oaks Country Club sprawls across rolling hills dotted with sparkling lakes. The narrow course has a traditional layout that was carefully carved from dense woodlands, making it a challenging test. The lakes as well as a meandering creek come into play throughout the golf course. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. The par-5 10th is one of the most memorable holes with an elevated green and a ridge cutting across the middle. Par is considered a good score on this tricky hole. The golf course finishes with a par-4 dogleg left that features water along the entire left side of the fairway. The green is also protected by sand on the right and water on the opposite side.

Looking Good
The course is in excellent condition. Despite the heavy rains, there were no soggy spots. Greens were medium speed and rolled well. This is a fun course with lost of decisions to make and very enjoyable.
Don't miss it.
course was beautiful
as always the greens and course was in perfect shape showed up a little early and we were checked in and allowed to tee off as soon as we were ready unlike other courses in the area that have a problem with golfers who book through golf now love this course and plan to bring friends to this course
Casual Golf
Golf course is on the up swing. Greens are faster and truer than you think. Wildlife abounds. Wonderful distraction from a challenging golf course. Staff are friendly.
A Walk in Nature
Get away from the stresses of life and go play Crescent Oaks. Not only watch your golf ball but Mother Nature in all her glory. Wildlife is all around you as you play. Slow down, observe and enjoy!
Played many times
Course is in fine shape, it’s always challenging but enjoyable. Nice hot deal & course was wide open
Good Course
Course is in pretty good shape. Fairways are dry and spotty, but not compacted. Tee boxes are as good as can be expected before the rainy season. Greens ran true.
Poorly designed course
No friendly upscale 18 hole golf course should ever have a long, tight par 4 with a 200 yd second shot over water to a green surrounded by traps .....for the first hole. They didn't get that memo here at Crescent Oaks. I believe all courses should start with a par five to be honest.Golf is supposed to be fun, not frustrating after getting a 7 on the very first hole. The rest of the holes get better but way too many traps lining the fairways and the grass around the traps is nonexistent all year round.If you're looking for a real challenge and you like to hit off of hardpan and out of traps on holes that occasionally have random trees blocking your shot to the green after a dead center drive.... this is the perfect course for you. If you normally shoot 78-80 but you want to bump it up to 95, play here. Hey owners, want to know why your course is unoccupied by avid golfers? There's your answer. Solution-start watering the grass. cut down some trees. Fill in some traps. Widen some fairways, and business will be booming. It's not that hard to do.

Great course for the price. Decent conditions good layout. Cart girl and staff werent very helpful but they were polite

Greens and fairways were in great shape. Tee boxes need attention. Overall, a great course for the money and a good challenge.

Fast greens, challenging shot angles
This course has always been a favorite to challenge your golf game. Plenty of water, many angle shots, and greens that are fast enough to give your stroke a challenge.
Great track
Great layout and course conditions were fantastic! Would definitely play again! The only issue was the gas carts. Loud and not in very good shape. Otherwise it was a terrific day!
