About
Located just north of Tampa in Tarpon Springs, Crescent Oaks Country Club sprawls across rolling hills dotted with sparkling lakes. The narrow course has a traditional layout that was carefully carved from dense woodlands, making it a challenging test. The lakes as well as a meandering creek come into play throughout the golf course. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. The par-5 10th is one of the most memorable holes with an elevated green and a ridge cutting across the middle. Par is considered a good score on this tricky hole. The golf course finishes with a par-4 dogleg left that features water along the entire left side of the fairway. The green is also protected by sand on the right and water on the opposite side.

Course was backed up from the start and running late.the group ahead of us didn’t make the turn and we never waited again.corse was ok and most of my issues were self inflicted.there was hardpan surface around the greens.greens were in good condition.
Golf course is in very good shape.
The green is in great shape compared to other golf course this time of the year.
This course is worth playing
I found the course design and conditions to be good. The greens role fast with little break. Pace of play is an issue.
2nd time here
Just finished playing nine holes after around earlier in the day. A gentleman in the pro shop was very polite and a good greeter to the course. It was a pleasant nine holes and I will definitely be back.
Hard Pass
Pace was okay for a weekend, we expected it to be slow. Staff was very friendly and saw the cart girl twice on the front nine. The course unfortunately needs a lot of work. Small greens that are VERY fast. Fairways were like concrete to hit off, but the grass held onto the ball with little to no roll. Wont be back. Lots of wildlife though! Alligators, turtles, deer, hawks.
That was fun to play
Really enjoyed playing this course! Layout presents a lot of interesting and challenging holes with doglegs and water in play. Greens are small but in nice condition.
Staff were friendly and professional.

The golfer you made me share a cart with hit me with a club and he was a real slow golfer
I don’t think he meant to hit me but I don’t think I would ever play your course again because of it
Good Course
Well maintained course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens in good shape. This course has some of the fastest greens I’ve played on in Florida. I really had to change my pitching and chipping when approaching the green. There is not a lot of water to contend with but there are a lot of carries to get over – both water and weeds/gorse. The staff was friendly, and helpful. Will play again during our stay.
Nice Course
The course is in nice condition and has a nice mix of par 3, 4 and 5’s.
Greens fast but hold nicely.
