About
Located just north of Tampa in Tarpon Springs, Crescent Oaks Country Club sprawls across rolling hills dotted with sparkling lakes. The narrow course has a traditional layout that was carefully carved from dense woodlands, making it a challenging test. The lakes as well as a meandering creek come into play throughout the golf course. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. The par-5 10th is one of the most memorable holes with an elevated green and a ridge cutting across the middle. Par is considered a good score on this tricky hole. The golf course finishes with a par-4 dogleg left that features water along the entire left side of the fairway. The green is also protected by sand on the right and water on the opposite side.

Great layout, need rule changes
Great course layout, in decent shape. Went there to walk the course but they said only members can walk. Then had to wait extra 20 minutes because they were out of golf carts and still wouldn't let us walk. One staff member said it was a financial thing yet it is the same price and they actually make more without us using carts. It would be a great course to walk, need to change rules.
Challenging Course
Green grass lining tee boxes and fairways and smooth greens. Always challenging. Good test of your iron play & 3 wood (from the white tees) Enjoyed my playing partners whom I just met. Good value!
Slow Play
Times before Crescent Oaks had very slow play . We thought playing on a Tuesday it would not be slow, but it was. Very slow. 4 1/2 - 4 hrs & 45 min. We waited on EVERY HOLE.
Nice surprise
After the first hole I loved the place.. lol
Doesn’t drain well is only thing on the neg side(and maybe hole 1)
Great conditions
There was a 1hour frost delay. Staff did a great job getting everyone out there as soon as possible.
Course and greens are in great condition.. have played here numerous times and it never disappoints.
fairly long and tight course
I've played this course for many years and it is enjoyable but challenging. There is a fair amount of water and some of the fairways are narrow with woods on both sides. Bring a few water balls because you'll need them. You can over hit a number of holes on your 2nd shot, and if you do, prepare to land in water or the woods, so be accurate with your irons.
Challenging
The course is in good shape, greens are good..a little quick, holes are varied in design to create an interesting layout. The course is challenging but manageable.
to many players on the course
the course was packed. We have to wailt half an hour to get a cart. The pace of play was poor. They sendet out a foursome every 8 minutes.
The greens are excelent. The fairway very hard, so it was dificult to get under the ball.
Course was extremely busy this day. Carts came in late and missed my scheduled tee time. Course was in good shape and was challenging. Group ahead did however play extremely slow. I would play the course again.

Another challenging day at Crescent Oaks, gators were out, course in wonderful shape greens & fairways great shape
Great value for the money
Pro shop staff could be more friendly and welcoming. Every thing else was great.
Beautiful and challenging!
I love this course. Some of the greens were a bit soft and ball marks were quite evident where players forgot to fix their marks. Otherwise, the course is in excellent shape. I will be back.

Course was in good shape.
Average layout.No real memorable holes.
Good pace of play and hooked on with 2 other nice guys.
