Waldorf Astoria Golf Club

With the back 9 under renovation it is possible that the front 9 would suffer. NOT AT ALL, course in fantastic condition, staff superb and anybody in Orlando wanting to play golf must go to the Waldorf Astoria.

I only wish we had played more rounds there.

Very nice course a lot of sand traps. Grounds were in excellent shape.

Just a beautiful golf course! Course is in superior condition. Pace of play was outstanding. Worked out perfectly for me. I was staying next door at the Signia Hilton. I had a rider and it was no problem. Best deal ever! Gave us water and didn’t charge me for a ridder. Other courses in the area charge 25 dollars for a ridder. They are super friendly and it was a great experience. Definitely will be back if I’m in the area. Can’t wait to see the back 9.

The staff was very friendly. The course was in great shape, but for the price, the bunkers can use some work.

I was not able to play as i woke up very sick. I notified Golf now numerous times, but it appears that mu post did not go through.

My only gripe was not being able to hit a few more range balls after my practice round. Since I’m not a member of the club, the range attendant reiterated their policy that it was not allowed. Note there was no one on the range and the practice green was empty. I finished my practice round at 4:30pm. It didn’t leave me with a welcoming feeling.

I played a few rounds of golf in Orlando while in the area and I would say this was the best maintained course of all. Other courses had fairways hard a rock making it a challenge not to blade iron shots but these fairways were well cared for and the greens were also top notch. Very friendly staff; ample drinking water, and free valet parking! Certainly would recommend and will return when next in the area.

The course is great but has some construction overflowing on to the golf course affecting 3 holes if play (16, 17, and 18). The adjacent hotel aid doing some expansion that rerouted the three holes on the back none. The greeting from the parking lot, checkin, free range balls, ice water given by the starter, what else can you say but fantastic. Cart girl has refreshments and at the end when returning the cart you are greeted with a cool wet towel to refresh yourself with. Love this course.

We did a golf stay and play 5/13-5/15. Staff from the starters to the clubhouse to the bar are all fantastic! We really enjoyed our time playing at Waldorf. The only downside was the course conditions. The greens and fairways are not as nice as they were last year, a lot of discolored patches on the greens and all over the fairway. Caught us off guard since last year the course was absolutely beautiful. The surrounding area and nature preserve is still beautiful and the construction was not bad at all, they did a great job creating new holes. They mentioned they are doing a lot of renovations to the course over the next two years, can’t wait to see what’s it’s like after!

This course is best in class, from the time you arrive to the time you leave. Highly recommend!

Truly great course to play on. Great layout very good conditions and very challenging!! Do not miss a chance to play this course if you are in the area!!

Understand this is Waldorf Astoria but while course is nice it’s not twice as nice as the other courses I am playing…..but twice as expensive.
