The grass was like it hadn't been cut in weeks. I lost multiple balls in the fairway due to grass too high that I couldn't find the ball. The greens were mediocre and one of them was almost completely brown. I have played there many times and this is the worst I've seen it

I booked this course on Tee-Off along with my neighbor. The course was in terrible shape! The greens had Blythe most every hole on the front nine. Thunder and lightning came in as we finished up on the ninth hole so we went to the clubhouse and asked for a rain check for the back nine. The man working the Pro Shop said Tee-Off would have to reimburse us for a rain check. The fairways needed mowed along with the greens and roughs. There was one working ball wash on the front nine and it had filthy water in it! Not worth the money or time to play this “goat path”!

the pace of play was great because, there was nobody playing the course. the course was not in its best condition. especially #15, what a disaster. I would recomend this course only if you get a god deal ($20 or less).

I've been playing this course for years, I was highly disappointed at the course, the leadership, and failure to disclose the course conditions.

I recently played and the course was in awful shape, bad greens, fungus, and several fairways were not in good shape.

We were charged a higher rate than advertised online, when I shared my feedback with the on-site staff, they promised a follow-up from the course director. No follow-up was received. Guess I won't be back and won't be shy about the lack of transparency with course conditions.

I have played this course many times. It has been in better shape, The 15th hole is a dissaster. For $20 it was a good practice round.

I'm a relatively new golfer, invited my father and friends for a nice 18 rounds of Sunday golf. We had a great time; the cart girl was very friendly and attentive and was greeted with friendly and endearing gentlemen at the pro shop. The staff truly care about their property and player experience. There was a bit to be desired in course maintenance and quality. However, that is easily overlooked, especially with the incredibly hot Florida heat.

Used to be a great place to play, seems like over the years the maintenance team has let the course go.

Used to play Wentworth regularly but not for a couple years. Want used to be well maintained, challenging golf course is now trash. The fairways and greens are trash.

i wouldnt even know where to start, spend your money elsewhere like anywhere

Greens are in great condition as well as tee boxes. Fairways could use some work in certainl areas but otherwise course is in good shape.

I should have heeded the negative reviews but we wanted a warm up round after traveling and the most recent reviews said the rain was helping. The only thing that will help this course is an infusion of money, expert care and time.

Positives: friendly staff, decent (very slow) greens

Negatives: everything else. Poor, uneven tee boxes. Dirt fairways (see pictures).Tree roots in bunkers.

I wish them luck but even half off a Hot Deal would not get me back there.

Help Wanted...Please! WOW, where to start. This track is the definition of missed opportunity. What a great piece of land. One of the best tracks of land I have seen in my five years living here. But truthfully the course condition was brutal. Greens were fine for the most part we saw 1 bad green #4 I believe. As for the course condition. Two things all golf courses need. Grass and a lawnmower. It look like they had tried to set the course up for the U.S. Open. No grass where you wanted it and foot high weeds where you didn't. The only bunkers that had seen a rake was on hole #9. And yes each cart had rakes on them, but wasn't nobody using them. Hardpan abound! It looked like the course had been sold. With the right ownership this place could be one of West Florida's top tracks. And yes I did read the reviews before playing and yes the article about the battle over the private vs. public split. All I say is this place has so much potential and so underwhelming.

This course is a 2/5 on its best day. The only thing that’s been maintained are the greens. I would recommend they blow the cut grass off the greens though. For the price it’s not a terrible play. The range is in the middle of holes 9-10 and is 50 yards wide, not much of a practice facility, small putting green. It really is a shame though, the layout is good and is fun. They really need someone to invest in this course, it could be so much better.

Played as a single, teed off at 150p was back in my car at 400p. Greens are in great condition, fairways are tight and in ok condition, been getting some heavy summer rains so a bounce back probably not to far away, tee boxes were fine too. Friendly staff in the club house too.

Course has some rough spots but if you roll the ball it is fine. Back nine layout is shortish but tight with some demanding shots required. Overall, this is a better value than some recent reviews suggest.
