About
Wentworth Golf Club is routed through a scenic and varied landscape of woods and wetlands. At 6,459 yards, the golf course is relatively short but it offers a demanding, target-style layout. The course has narrow fairways and small greens that run fast. The front nine is routed through towering stands of cypress trees, pines, and mature oaks while the back nine has a more links-style layout that will test your shot-making skills. Water hazards come into play on several holes but the far more prominent features of the course are the massive bunkers that lurk beside the fairways and greens, ready to swallow even slightly errant shots. Careful strategy is required throughout the course in order to avoid losing balls. In addition to the challenging layout, Wentworth G.C. boasts superb conditions that are considered some of the area's best.

Cool and Cloudy
The weather held off,so I think people maybe canceled.
Course is very challenging and bunkers galore but lots of fun, can’t wait to go back

Fun challenging course
This is a tough course but was lots of fun to play. Given other courses in the area, the value felt about right for the price ($60 for my round). A couple of areas weren’t great (bunkers were very heavy and rough around the edges, some tee boxes needed a lot of work), but the greens and fairways were in very good shape. Pace of play was okay (4.5 hours for the round). Not super long waits, but we were regularly waiting a couple of minutes on tee boxes.

pitiful!
first off,paired an average player with another average player was fine,but then pairing us up with two absolute beginners about 15-17 years old.a couple of miserable holes,one of them actually hit me with an errant shot.i had had enough at this point,so i insisted we break off from those two.best for all.then once settling in,realized that there was more sand here than clearwater beach.fairways were in horrible shape,and with all that sand,very few bunkers were raked,alot of rocks as well.will not play there again,

Wentworth needs help
This course which was private a long time ago needs some serious help. The bones are there to make it a great course again but currently the fairways & all bunkers were in very poor shape. The pace of play was a 5 hour round. Range exists but in very bad shape. Best thing about the course was friendly staff and english style pub/bar. Nice looking interior of clubhouse. Would not play this again unless there is a course remodel.

It's Just OK
Greens were super slow, tee boxes and fairway had a lot of dead grass. There was a group of 6, how is that allowed on a weekend? Beer cart only came once, on the 10th hole. For this rate, I would have expected better services and course conditions, this should have been only around $30 a round.

Wonderful course if you can get a good price
Found a good deal and payed $22 for my round. Honestly for the money I spent I have no complaints. Greens were great and very clean. If you're being nit picky the fairways were a bit over grown, and there was some grass patch work I noticed they were doing around some bunkers but other than that the experience I had was very enjoyable. If you don't normally spend $50 and aren't spoiled by all the beat courses I can whole heartedly say that this course is well worth a play in the $20-30 range. Course isn't perfect but when you compare it to other near by courses in the same price range it blows them out of the water.

Play early
First time actually finish a round here or on any other course.
We decided to play at 8:30 we were done in less than 4 hours.
So if you don’t want to deal with all those slow players, play early.
The greens are awesome, tee boxes need some love.

Rough
The sand traps were like mud. Fairways were burnt.
However the greens were in good condition.

Wentworth after 2.00pm
Pace was slow as we took 5 and a half hours for an 18 holes with à cart.
The course was in fair condition and the greens were pretty stead for the 18 holes.
I will play again

Tight fairways, nice greens the course is a challenge. Play this course.

Needs help
Pace of play horrible. But have never seen a course with bunkers in such a horrible condition. Heard course may have filed for Bankruptcy. If someone can put some money into that course it has all the bones of a good one. Needs some serious help. Greens were decent.
Great greens
Course I’m pretty rough shape. Bunkers and tee boxes lacked any sense of care.
I suppose the lack of rain hasn’t helped.

Greens were absolutely beautiful. Most fairways and tee boxes were not in very good condition. I have seen them in much better shape.

The good and bad
We booked through golf now who claim to have the best prices however arrived at course and their price was better. Luckily they gave us reduced price
Front tees were often temporary and in bad shape not cut down. The course is filled with bunkers. However EVERY bunker was like a hard dirt pit. Not sand. Impossible to hit out if. The course has great potential but is not well maintained

Tee boxes rough , moved to different locations, blue tees and white tee in same place on some holes. Some tee boxes moved to “grass” areas
