The rate would have been $10 less person had I called the course directly. I thought this web site was supposed to be cheaper. This time of year don’t book after 1 because you start running out of daylight.

Put this course on your must-play list. Great conditions, great layout, very Nicklaus with strategic bunker placement.

Great conditions both fairways and greens. Wide and forgiving fairways. Only problem area is no driving range, just a net to hit into but would play again.

Great turf conditions, good pace of play, courteous staff. Would definitely recommend and will play again

This course was in great condition and some of the views, especially with the nearby mountains and planes flying by from the airport, were pretty spectacular. However, a lot of the holes were repetetive/ not that memorable considering the Nicklaus design and on top of that the greens were very slow (although seemed pretty well maintained). Clubhouse and practice area were beautiful, just a heads up that the range is a 30 foot shot into netting. If I could choose, I would recommend Indian Wells or Desert Willow on top of this course, however still think this is a fun course to play and conditions are solid.

This course is a good test especially from the Championship tees. Staff was very friendly and the course was in great condition. Some really challenging holes with the par 3s averaging around 200 yards with the exception of one hole that was 150 yards. I will definitely play this course again.

Was very excited to play this course, given the price I found and the fact that it was a Nicklaus design (his company, though not a signature). The golf course overall was in very good condition (except the greens were slower than I was hoping for) as well as the flowers and other periphery around the property. I think this course though might have been designed by one of Nicklaus' new interns....adequate but clearly designed by someone who was afraid of taking risks with the design. Nicklaus' signature element of his designs are very sharply sloped greens, and these, well, weren't. Pro shop attendant even said don't over read putts - they just don't break that much. I don't hate the place (and I would come here again), but I just came in with a little too high of expectations.

ourse was great. Had three foursomes and everyone loved it. Have to say that the staff and particularly Rich Enriquez who went out of his way to accommodate our group. If you go to the desert, play this course.

Wow, my whole group loved this course! It has a great layout with forgiving fairways and good sized receptive greens. The customer service was impressive from bag drop to pro shop and the clubhouse and bar are cool and bright. It was great to play before flying home to end our trip as it’s only 5 minutes from the airport.

Every hole on this golf course offers stunning vistas of the mountains and skyline. Fairways are generous, greenside bunkers are challenging. Large greens are a pleasure.

Played it from 6100 yds. I’d recommend that even if you’re a longer hitter. Greens are wide but not deep. Greens are in excellent condition, consistent. Fast but not scary fast. Really enjoyed it. Definitely worth a try if you haven’t played it. We play it often

Only our second time playing Escena but it is becoming our new favorite in the valley. Perfect condition and visually pleasing the layout lends itself to both aggressive and conservative play. Good pace with few bottlenecks to slow up play.

Great course , good value , very professional staff , this course us a must play !
