Escena Golf Club

A beautiful course to play. Holes were challenging but not too difficult. Looking forward to playing there again!

Played Escena on Monday, December 11th. Really liked the Mid-Century modern clubhouse. Nice golf shop, well stocked and casual atmosphere. Friendly staff at check in and first tee. Course was in excellent condition and the weather was cool at the start but warming up nicely by the turn. It was an exceptionally crystal clear day and the views of the San Jacinto mountains were stunning. The greens were a perfect speed (around 10 on the stimp?) Played at a nice pace, right about four hours. Can't wait to return.

Very nice course and nice staff. First time played but will definitely return. The course had nice challenges and was pleasant length.

Wonderful course to start a desert trip... The course doesn’t beat you up with a lot of forced carries or narrow landing areas and island greens. Wide fairways and not overly severe drop offs near the greens. Only thing is that it doesn’t have a driving range- you hit off mats into nets.

This course is in great condition and has a fun and challenging layout. The sand traps are okay but it’s more of a product of players not properly raking. Greens run true. Cart girl kept us hydrated with Bud Light.

One of the top courses I have played and great value as nice or nicer than private courses I have played !

Played as a single and was paired up with 3 others. Course was in very good shape. Greens weren't lightning fast, but not awful either. Pretty open fairways compared to some other courses in the valley. Beautiful facility. Pace of play was Ok but I can see where it might be an issue. The only knock is no real warm up area. The driving nets are ok and work better than nothing, and the practice green was at least 30% faster than on course. If you are 12 hdcp or lower, play tees at 6500. Green was too short for me

Everything was great except for the greens. Very slow for what we're used to.

This course is my First In Last Out golf course when I come to Palm Springs. Great place which well laid out to accommodate a steady pace of play.

Challenging yet fun course that has some of the tougher/longer par 3's in the Coachella Valley which makes for an interesting round. The greens are a little slower than normal but the course is in great shape after just opening up for the high season.

Nice layout . Greens very bumpy, they need to be rolled. Sand in bunkers was excellent.

Got a fresh grilled cheeseburger, ice cold, soda ,beer and chips at the turn right beside the tee box on the course!
