Escena Golf Club

Fantastic track and easy to play. This course is an interesting layout with a lot of variation but was designed as a resort course. Most holes a re wide open but don't let that lead you into a sense of complacency. There are plenty of traps and hazards to get in trouble. Stay in your game and hit the greens and you'll have a good chance to make a putt on some of the best greens in the desert. A perfect place to play a round in the desert. Come on out and play.

Don’t take food in the cart. The small land animals attack the cart when one is away. This is almost constant. It interferes with your game. Best to eat before after golf. Drink is okay.

Great course and very fun and beautiful. My only problem was the lack of yardage markers. The starter didn’t Mention and w e rarely found a sprinkler.

One of the best courses to play in Palm Springs area

Course is in fantastic shape. You couldn't find any faults with course set up or maintenance. My only complaint was two groups ahead of us was some noobs who kept up ok on the front nine but fell way off the pace on the back. At no time did anyone come out and encourage them to catch up. There were 2 holes open when we were making our approach shots to 13. Then the beverage cart drove right past us on the 16th green after I ASKED her earlier if we'd see her again on the back 9. Aside from a couple of petty problems the course was in perfect shape for golf. Come on out to the desert and play. You won't regret it.

Course was in very good shape , excellent value for the green fee , but somewhat slow , 4.5 hours , would like Marshall to push players to finish in 4 or so , I certainly would recommend this course

Great course, for players with all abilities. Conditions are great and well manicured. Green Perfect. The restaurant is well staffed and the food choices are good.

I was paired with some locals that knew there way around. The greens were very good! The fairways were good. Overall the course is in good shape. The carts need GPS . It is a good course to play at least once. There are just so many to choose from in this area.

This course is fun to play. There is lots of water, but rarely impacting play. Very wide Fairways all slope to themiddle so it’s hard not to be in the fairway.

We played it twice this week and had a great time. We will play it again next week on Thursday. This is one of the courses we play every year on our visit to Palm Springs.

Great course layout. Disappointed in yardage indicators, only a 150 marker easily findable. Sprinkler heads have yardage but are hard to find. Staff were super.

Most of outsiders - myself included - when arriving at Palm Springs area, look for the traditional ones: TPC Stadium, La Quinta, Indian Wells etc. Yesterday I could not find tee times in those courses, so I was left with Escena option. What a great surprise! Very friendly staff, Nicklaus lay out, immaculate conditions (much better than those so called traditionals). Truly a great experience to share with everyone. Next time in Palm Springs, I will place Escena in the “must play” category.

They charged $60 for non-resident but grass condition was extremely poor and there were full of duck poo on the green. It was terrible.
