Liked everything but the ranger

He told us we were playing too slow!

We all play country club golf, know the rules. Very windy we fell 1/2 hole behind and the people behind us never waited. The ranger threatened to have us skip a hole he then proceeded to waste our time on 2 other occasions therefore contributed too slowing us down

Won’t play here again

Wanted to play this course for a while so we paid the higher green fees. Not a bad course and we got lucky as this area can be windy. Moderate pace for the desert. I think with the competitive pricing for golfing in the desert this course might want to consider offering some better deals.

Also without asking us the pro shop bumped our tee time back 2 slots to set us off with another couple.

Guys, just because I wear a skirt doesn’t mean I can’t keep pace or feel uncomfortable golfing alongside men.

The course is in amazing shape. Accommodates all levels of golfers. Staff excellent. Looking forward to my next visit.

Very much enjoyed returning to Escena. It's a top-notch place, from start to finish. Course was in perfect condition, layout was challenging-- you must make your shots to play well here. Greens were fair, not extremely fast but rolled well. I think they could add GPS on the cart for the price paid, but that's just a suggestion. Warning: there are some holes on the back-9 that run right along the airport and you will hear planes taking off. My only complaint was that the restaurant was all booked up after my round and could not have a post-round lunch there. Oh well. The golf was great.

Really good experience including a great breakfast and a wonderful round with a nice pair of Canadian ladies. Course conditions were very good. Starters instructions were strange with 90 degree rule from the rough (never heard of in the valley this time of year) and rakes left in the traps which nobody did. Small change for areal good experience.

Loved the course. Layout was nice and the greens ran pure. Only comment is some of the fairways and rough were a touch patchy.

The marshalls ruined the round. We played quickly and we’re having fun but they wouldn’t leave you alone. Pushing you all the way, no time for even a bathroom break! Really disappointed because the course itself it an interesting layout and in great shape.

Course is in great shape as usual. Great Nicholas track made tricky by some difficult par 5s. The top 4 handicap holes are par 5s. This is one of the best values of the desert with a great course, excellent amenities, and friendly staff. If there was one thing I could criticize is the lack of a driving range. The only range is hitting into a net. There's plenty of short game practice available but you can't hit full shots into a range. If I could be so bold I'd like to suggest that they get a few of those Trackman devices.

One of my favorite golf courses. From when i first step on the property everyone goes that extra mile to make sure my Experience for the day is enjoyable. The guys at the pro shop. (Thomas and Gill) are fantastic. Dave our starter was very friendly and professional . The course layout is one I love to play over and over. The views are breathtaking.. Replay rates are very reasonable . The restaurant with its outdoor seating very relaxing. Good menu. With even better service. All in all I Love coming back to Escena and would definitely recommend when visiting the Palm Springs area.

Beautiful course with lots of bunkers which makes the course more of a challenge.
