Conestoga Golf Club
About
Located about an hour northeast of Las Vegas, Conestoga Golf Course tumbles across the desert canyons and arroyos of Mesquite. Gary Panks, the course's designer, wanted to create a course that looked as though it had been forged over time by nature. By utilizing the desert landscaping and natural washes, the result was a stunning layout that is as scenic as it is challenging. The rolling topography covers a range of elevation changes, providing not only tricky uneven lies but also views of the surrounding canyons. The course is enhanced even further with interesting rock outcroppings that are interspersed across the landscape and several different water features. In addition to the natural hazards, Panks incorporated over 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout Conestoga Golf Course. It is formidable, but the course has five sets of tees to accommodate a wide range of skill levels.

Had a little construction going on. A little nosey but it is a great golf gourse.
Had a great time. The golf course was great in very good condition. They had some construction going on that was a bit nosey. It was are first time on this golf couse and it was a little confusing as where to go next. Thannk goodness they gave us a little book map it was very helpful.
Conestoga is a very nice course. I highly recommend it.
I would highly recommend this course. The course was in great shape. Due to over-seeding carts were required to say off the fairways. There are some very scenic and interesting golf holes. If you are playing this course for the first time make sure you play with someone who has knowledge of the course layout. Otherwise I’d suggest you buy a yardage book from the pro shop. I will put this course high on my list when I come out to Vegas / Mesquite again next year.
Very enjoyable and beautifully maintained. Excellent value.
We had a great time at the course. It was in excellent condition even though they are just coming out of their over-seeding. We will go back again.
DIDN'T GET WHAT I PAID FOR
This is the 5th time that I have traveled from St. George to Mesquite to play this golf course. While I really love the layout, every single time there has been something wrong that I should have been made aware of when booking the tee time. The first few times, the course had either just been plugged or the greens were ungodly slow and fuzzy. The next time, they had one nine completely closed and had to play the back nine twice. This time, on 9-21-13, the course had set aside part of the range for the National Long Drive Championship. Range balls are included with the fee. Those people were allowed to hit balls on the range but those of us that paid for our round were not allowed to hit balls. . The rest of the range was closed because, I was told, there was a wedding party about to be there and they didn't want to upset that. They were not picking balls nor were they cutting the range grass. I played the entire round and then found out the wedding wasn't until later. In addition, in spite of the fact that the entire course was dry and the fairways were in pristine condition, we had to use cart-paths only for the entire course. Had I known that, I would not have made this reservation. This information should be made available to customers. Again, I judge a course by it's character and I absolutely love the layout of this track. However, from now on, prior to making any tee times here, I will be sure to call the course first.
Front nine is beautiful but challenging. Back nine is more forgiving.
A challenging but fun course to play. The front nine has many natural hazards that make it beautiful but challenging.
A nice round of golf
it was a little bit slow but it was a nice round of golf. the greens were slow but the course is getting ready to close for overseeding.
Conestoga in the heat of the summer.
Course was being aerated and seeded but still played great for the summer time. Paid only $22 and was it ever worth it.
Very fair course with some challenging holes. Good practice facilities.
Played this course during Mesquite AM in May. Enjoyed the heck out of it. Saw price on Golfnow while in Vegas and made the trip to mesquite with a friend. He also raved about it and definetly would play again. Played from the silver tees which made it enjoyable and fai w/ my hdcp. From back I think this would be very challenging.
Fairway damage extensive. Greens poor condition in many spots.
$25 rate great and value ok but do not expect good conditions. Green grass is Bermuda is course and a putting challenge especially when not cut even.u
what a great place to play
nice course and lots of fun to play. lots of challenging holes
great deal for money
Our golf now exerience was great. Pro shop had our reservation already printed and it couldn't have gone smoother, They had water in the cooler on cart for us, coolers on course empty. It was hot (july) and course in off season condition, so a bit hard but overall was a great course and we had a good day.
A good tough test on a beautiful layout
The course is very beautiful and challenging. I'm not a low handicap golfer but I like a course with some bite like this one has. The fairways had just been plugged and were a little thin. Greens were very good. My GPS did not have this course so I had to do a lot of guessing on distance to various features. Some local knowledge is required. We had a heavy thunder shower and experienced a 45 minute delay because of lightning. The deal that day included a very nice lunch.
Great course for the time of season.
We played late and there was very few people out which made the experience great for us. We are both scratch players and it was nice to take in the surrounding. Was winding, but overall would love to play again.
Not for senior play some holes are roped off 150ft from the green greens are dry
Not player friendly for a senior roped off for no reason 100 -150
Scenery good; value poor
We were astounded to find when we arrived that we had only booked NINE holes. This was not clear when viewed online. There was no possibility of changing it to 18 holes either. The help said "Sorry. This has happened to many other people."
We played nine holes only.
Very good condition, challenging.
A well maintained course with one exception; the condition of the bunkers is terrible, absolutly no sand in the bottom. It is inexcusable for a course of this stature not to maintain the bunkers.
Great course
Course was good. Greens were running very true but not as fast as the last time I played. Would like to have them play quicker.
Excellent track. Exceded expectations!
Played this course late March on the way to St. George to kick off a nine day Utah/Nevada golf holiday. Course was in excellent shape for that time of the year, greens very good, layout excellent with plenty of elevation changes and beautiful views. Staff was very helpful and friendly and practice facility is very good. Overall an excellent value at $64 each on Golf Now. Will definately play this course again.
Great Improvements, one of Mesquites best kept secrets.
Just 2 mins from Falcon Ridge and plays so much better. The course has finally grown in since the last time I played it 18 months ago. They have really taken this course to an elite level. The course plays in and out of canyons and definitely has some unique features not found anywhere else. Practice facilities are top notch. The greens were the best we played all week. Very smooth and true.
One thing about this course, keep your ball on the grass (fairway/rough). the rough is narrow and after that...rocks. Good luck finding a playable lie that will not leave a mark on your club. It gets ugly if you miss fairways.
The only reason it did not get 5 stars is the course layout causes for major delays from the Par 3 on the second hole and the cliff feature of the 4th hole and a par three on the 5th. I have waited 45 min to tee off on the 4th hole after completing the 3rd. the line of carts was ridiculous. Course marshals could not be found, called the club house with no luck either. That is the only issue i have had with Conestoga. Besides that I did enjoy my round and look forward to playing it again.
An Amazing Experience
I was amazed with the breathtaking and challenging holes that make up the course. Each hole had a distinctive challenge and beauty. The staff was friendly and helpful from the time we pulled up in our vehicles to the time we drove away. All of us in our group cannot wait to golf this course again as it was an amazing experience.
