Conestoga Golf Club
About
Located about an hour northeast of Las Vegas, Conestoga Golf Course tumbles across the desert canyons and arroyos of Mesquite. Gary Panks, the course's designer, wanted to create a course that looked as though it had been forged over time by nature. By utilizing the desert landscaping and natural washes, the result was a stunning layout that is as scenic as it is challenging. The rolling topography covers a range of elevation changes, providing not only tricky uneven lies but also views of the surrounding canyons. The course is enhanced even further with interesting rock outcroppings that are interspersed across the landscape and several different water features. In addition to the natural hazards, Panks incorporated over 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout Conestoga Golf Course. It is formidable, but the course has five sets of tees to accommodate a wide range of skill levels.

Requires target golf shots.
The front nine holes requires alot of target shots. It's a challenging course but still fun to play.
Pristine course Great value
Course was in pristine shape, and very beautiful. Only complaint could be greens were very hard and wouldn't hold shots, but were also in superb shape and rolled fast and true so it was a good trade off to adjust to.
The staff was friendly; only complaint there was the Marshall, rather than check his clock, would look to see if you had an open fairway then hurry you along. This took away from our experience. We were mostly caught up with the group ahead of us and finished in 4.1/4 hrs. Still an excellent experience I would highly recommend!!

Plenty of shot making challenges.
This course is beautiful with many challenging shots on the front nine. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Holes 2 through 7 require alot of target golf and were quite challenging for the first time having played the course. Greens were well kept but speedy. The course opens up on the back nine and gives you a clear view of landing areas. Looking forward to playing this course again having gained needed knowledge from the first go round.
Fabulous start to Golf Vacation
Traveled with wife for our first golf holiday ever - what a way to start by playing this gorgeous layout. Practice facility was amazing but the course was far more than we could have imagined. Every hole was distinct and fun - many we wanted to replay on the spot.
Starter was very cordial & gave us each a beautiful course layout book - most helpful - great keepsake.
As it turned out this was the best course we played during our journey to Palm Springs. ( including Palm Springs)
what a great course in the middle of nowhere!
This course was player friendly, very tought from the back tees. slope was over 135 but if you keep the ball in play a low score is possible. Green were fast but true. Should be in better shape with warmer weather. Over all had a fun day.
Great course,well set up.
Had a great day even when the wind kicked up. Wind made course very difficult but playable. Deal on Golf Now was great included range balls and lunch, anything on menu. Very good!! Staff was wonderful.
This course has a variety of holes
Although it rained almost the entire round we had a great time. The free lunch with the round is a great idea! The course was in great shape for end of January. Played another course in Mesquite the day before and Conestoga was in far better condition. Will definitely try to play Conestoga in future visits to Mesquite.
if you lived in mesquite, this would be the one you play over and over again.
firstly the negatives.i didnt like the greens.dont bother bringing a divot repairer.you wont need it.i like fast greens but they must be receptive.these greens give you no check at all.so get used to chip and run.
now the positves.great layout. especially the front 9.its a more playable version of wolfcreek and alot cheaper.the staff are very friendly.i forgot my sand wedge on the practise green and they brought it out to me on the ist hole.you probably need to play it a couple of times to get to know where you can miss and which club to hit.a few blind shots .we were lucky they paired us up with a local that was helpful with tips.count your blessings if you are lucky enough to be paired up with darwin.
i have been through mesquite and played wolfcreek many times and have always raved about that course but this time around i felt that conestoga had a more upbeat feel about it.this time around at wolfcreek the greens were rubbish and the staff were just going through the motions almost to the point where they dont care.unfortuantly it seems wolfcreek is going downhill and i think conestoga are doing all the right things( except the hard greens).a must play in mesquite.
great layout
Really like the layout, staff friendly and helpful. Considering time of year course was in pretty good shape.
Very fun and challenging
This course has many many elevation changes and is a lot of fun visually. Fairways are ample but pocked with bunkers as are the greens. The only negative I think is that the course architect went a little too crazy with the bunkering. They are also all very deep and are everywhere. That said I'd play this course over and over, The greens were in great shape also
great visuals and elevation changes
This coarse rewards accuracy and challenges you on the greens
almost every hole has something different awesome photo oportunities.
Several signature holes
The course design is one of the best layouts I have ever played. The kind of course you can't wait to come back and play. Glad they offer discount deals otherwise I couldn't afford to come back as often. I would have made the front nine the back so the best is saved for last.
Very nice track and practice facility
I always enjoy this track and can only afford to play there when using Golf Now.com.Thanks for making these courses available at an affordable price.
I loved the place.
The course was in perfect shape. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is an absolute must play. It is only one hour and ten minutes from the vegas strip.
Beautifully maintained. Excellent Service!
Conestoga, for my money is the number one (1) course in Mesquite. definitely more fun than Wolf creek. Played here 4 times in last 10 days and loved ever minute .
Enjoyable
Friendly staff, Good practice area, Very good layout, A good challenge.
nice course for the cost
The course was in very good condition for the time of year that we were there. The staff was very good with us when we got there. We got free lunch also with a very good rate to play. The pace of play was very good as there was not many on the course at the time we played as we teed off at noon during August. The heat was not bad for us and they did have ample water on the course
Fun course to play....great facilities!
I would play this course more often but don't because the Golf Now reservation portal usually does not allow single players to make a reservation. 99% of the time, only reservations for 2, 3 or 4 players are available.
