I have heard so much about this course out in the middle of nowhere. Definitely worth the drive, but... They are undergoing major course revamping. Only upon arrival were we notified that only 9 holes were open. The front nine are going thru upgrades/changes. They are putting a lot of money into what already was a beautiful place to play. At least the 9 I got to see. This will be going on for at least all summer, so do yourself a favor and know what you're going to get. Again, great layout, beautiful views and course in great condition. Got to play the same 9 twice and that in itself helps if you're a first-time visitor.

Fantastic Find! Straight shot to the coarse beautiful scenery and super clean coarse. Greens were great, it seemed like we were on our own private coarse.

I’ve played her several times over the last couple of years but this was my first time since new ownership a couple of months ago. Drove 90 minutes from Va Beach as facility is top shelf. They needed a beverage cart for 85 degree day. Not sure why it wasn’t out. Great value but in the middle of nowhere. I’ll return when I have a day to get away.

Fiarways, bunkers, greens, tee boxes all in excellent condition - plus yeti coolers every few holes with bottled water. A lot of sand traps, so some might find that difficult but typical of Arnold Palmer courses. Overall, excellent and would go again.

Course is gorgeous. Challenging yet not overly challenging for the mid to high handicap golfer. Design is phenomenal. Looking forward to playing again soon.

We have played Scotch Hall Preserve several times and love the course and the layout. This time of year the fairways are like everywhere else a little thin but are playable. The greens were in great condition. Also the staff was pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend Scotch Hall Preserve.

This is a great course. They treat you like a posh place but without the posh attitude.

They are going to be closing one nine to fix the bunkers then swapping to do the other nine. It will take all summer

We live an hour 20 minutes away and the clubhouse guy said call we will give you a great rate.
