Quail Hollow Golf Course

Played the course all the time. Then they closed and reopened under different Managment. You can see the difference. The new ownership is trying hard to keep the place looking and playing like a golf course. Nice job folks we'll be back!

If you like a course where both the fairways and greens are well maintained this is the perfect course. The new ownership has done a great job in bringing this course back to a great playing condition. The course is not overly challenging, but for the average golfer it offers an enjoyable experience.

Quail Hollow has a terrific staff that maintains the greens, fairways and roughs in superb condition. The layout, though somewhat challenging, ideal for the novice and groomed golfer. You must consider management of play on every hole, whether laying up or going for the pin. The greens gently undulate and must be read properly or you'll be looking for a double bogey. I'm looking forward to my return to give it go once more...and many times to follow.

The renovation of this property was nothing short of spectacular. The first year opened the starter guys were a pleasure to see and talk to everytime we came to Quail. The second year not so much. We'll see what the third year brings. We love the layout, the greens, the pace, the 19th hole and the club house staff has ALWAYS been 1st class and accommodating. We drive nearly an hour to get over there but we relish each trip because we know what's just around the bend! Best to all of you out there at Quail Hollow!.

Greens were good. Fairways forgiving but with good challenges for ball placement.

I've played this course once in a tournament and now twice as a regular round. Great drainage as we only had to adhere to cart path only on 2 holes due to the downpour that occurred over the 2 days prior to my tee time. Overall, great course. A couple of wide open spaces for errant tee shots and more than a few put it where you're supposed to holes to challenge the accuracy of your game. I'll be back again.

Always enjoy playing Quail Hollow. They always make us feel welcomed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our round of golf at Quail Hollow. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I wasn't expecting someone to drop off a cart at my car, that was a pleasant surprise. The food in the lounge matches par with the course itself, had an awesome club sandwich with sweet potato chips. Can't wait to play this course again!

The course was in very good shape. I played with another couple that had also got their tee time from Golfnow. This course will not make you think about every shot. The layout was not that difficult but the course was still fun. The remodel of the clubhouse is very nice, I did not have time to stop by for a bite, but probably would the next time I play here. This is what I call a "Feel Good" course, lots of room for errand shots on most the holes. But not an executive course, still long enough you do have to use a driver. Go try it, you will not be disappointed.

Nov 2013 - it's been several years since I played this course, and unfortunately, they no longer have a range, just hitting nets. Course itself is wide open, off fairways will have spots of Bermuda rough. Fairways were in good condition. We recall only one green with bad spots in play and on the perimeter. Would say apprx half the holes are lined with homes. Probably best attribute to this course, Winghouse is only a couple miles away!
Will keep this course on rotation for winter play as rates are of great value

I PLAYED IT FOR THE FIRST TIME AND IT WONT BE MY LAST. I REALLY LIKED THE STAFF, THE LAYOUT AND THE GREENS. OH YEA, AND THE CARTS WERE NEW !

This is a nice course with fast greens. No breath taking holes but in very good shape.

Not a bad course for the money. If you're in the area, it's worth checking out, although the greens were beat up.

The course received heavy rains 12 hours earlier which left soggy fairways and lots of incidental water. Cart path only play. Lots of sand traps protecting the greens plus fairway traps which kills a 30 handicap golfer.

Enjoyed the course and although they received 2 inches of rain the night before the course played very well. This course is vastly improved and i would recommend it. They are working very hard to get this course in great shape.

Course was in good shape,greens were rough, i think all the rain has made maintaining a tough job this year. Staff was veryfriendly, at leadt the lady taking the money. Overall a nice course was fun and we enjoyed ourselves.

This course needs some attention, especially the greens which were in poor shape. This course looked great online, but disappointing in reality. My other complaint was all of the water coolers were empty on a 95 degree afternoon. I will not be visiting this course again anytime soon!
