About
With a name meaning 'quiet waters' in the Seminole language, Okeeheelee Golf Course is situated amidst lush, rolling hills that overlook the sparkling waters of Clear Lake. There are 27 championship holes that are divided into three nines and can be played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Osprey, Heron, and Eagle nines are named after the various wildlife that can be seen throughout. Each golf course offers a different set of challenges and scenery. Okeeheelee's Osprey/Heron Course features a variety of elevation changes. There are scenic views from the elevated greens but don't become too distracted since there are many elements to contend with including towering trees, strategically placed bunkers, and deep rough lining the fairways. There are also plenty of water hazards coming into play.

Easygoing Course
Fun easygoing course. Very well maintained. Greens were firm and fast. Practice greens were sandpits.

The course was in the best shape I’ve ever seen and I’ve been playing there for over 20 years

Really enjoyed playing this course. Afternoon was a bit hot and humid, so I will try again one morning.

Windy was an understatement
The course played grea, except for the dry firm grass conditions, the windy was pretty much 25mph all day, and the course played with 3-4 groups on each hole for the first 9 holes, need better spacing when conditions are so windy to give more time for each group to clear the previous hole or field.
Ugh!
Course is super dry- greens are like table tops. What worse, greens keeper putting pin positions in impossible place, on slopes, too close to the fringe, everything was off the green.
This is not the first time this course is in such bad shape- for $65- Please Fire the greenskeeper- he really sucks.
Warm of course only- just to knock of some rust- that’s all it’s worth.
Anything more than $25 is a waste of your money and will be disappointed.
Wish could of played better
Challenging course, ver difficult greens, could not adjust.
Next time going to bring my scuba gear to retrieve all those lost balls!
Only aggravating thing was getting key for cart. Felt like like a yo-yo
